What I want to know is, why did these cops not open fire? If one cop is being shot at, on the street, from a building, ten others will drive up and return fire. For
God’s sake, they killed a Black woman because she made a U-turn in front of the Capitol and she had her child with her in the back seat. You know damn well, as so many have said, if those people had been Black, they’d all of be dead.

So here we have cops being beaten, stomped on, sprayed, and nobody draws their gun. Who gave that order, if there was one? Why wasn’t it ignored to defend themselves? Was there a concern about how it would look to see White Americans being shot? Especially by the cops who were Black or Brown?

I’m with you Bemused.
My niece is a nurse in Philly and at the height of the pandemic she was being run ragged. I was so pissed off. I told her that she and the other nurses should go to the hospital administrators and tell them to change their Covid admitting policies in the ER to asking just one question: Have you at least been trying to keep yourself and others around you well and safe by wearing a mask out in public?
If they answered yes they they got in. If they answered no, they went to the bottom of the waiting list for a bed and a ventilator.
She said she and the other nurses already had thought of that.

I wonder why they won’t air his comments? Isn’t a coup their ultimate goal? It’d be one thing to have a coup in a white European country. They look like us. Quite another to have it in an Asian, Pacific Asian, African or Latin American country, those ’Other" countries.

Ellen, I read something a day or two ago that a negative reaction to the vaccine may mean that people had Covid-19 and not known it or blew it off as a mild cold or flu. Have you been unwell at any time over the past year? My niece’s husband had a bout of Covid in May and when the assisted living facility he works at vaccinated him he felt like he had Covid all over again for a couple of days or so.
