Bemused, I’m not quite disgusted with humans yet, just the American ones. What used to be a fleeting thought of seceding when my level of disgust went too high now comes to mind a few times or more every week because I get so frustrated and most of it is aimed at the lameness of the majority of democrats, their weak communication skills and wishy washy personalities.

As an emotionally damaged and hysterical child himself I imagine it takes one to know one, except Greta isn’t, so he must be looking in the mirror again wishing someone would be his friend.

I’m losing heart that anything will come of the investigations against Trump in NY. The news makes it sound doubtful that new DA Bragg has enough evidence. Or is it just a lack of balls? Or scared off?

Unless I missed it, I wish Biden had contrasted the Ukranian people fighting for their democracy against factions in this country trying to tear it down.

As a liberal who likes to express her admiration, and longing, for a European style health care system, among other advantages they enjoy, and gets told frequently that if I like it so much, I should move there, I’d like to pass on similar advice to Lil’ fTtucker and advise him to pack his bags, find a nice big dachas for the family and move there. Maybe he can sell a few TV dinners.

You would think that having vile hatred and death wishes thrown back in his face would make him think twice about working for the network which had a lot to do with normalizing such behavior. But this is America and even with, I imagine, platinum health insurance he probably has medical bills coming out the wazoo and needs the money after such a lengthy illness.

IMO, and I’m sure you all have thought about this too, is that this isn’t just a money maker for the Murdoch’s and their big salary opinion talkers. It’s bigger than that. This is a game that’s been going on for thousands of years of human history.

In the current era starting with the crucifixion of Christ, groups of people have blamed the Jews for His death. It was never the ‘Jews’. It was rich powerful men who happened to be Jewish, men of authority who gained their power, wealth and authority from other men of authority in Rome who deigned to bestow it upon them as long as they toed the line. These men were fearful of having their grip on the people and their thoughts, obedience, loyalty and money slipping away from them because of this rabble rouser. He had to go.

Anyone who’s ever dared to upset the applecart has been demonized. Pick a religion, any religion, atheists, any indigenous peoples, women, gays, free thinkers, the list goes on. If the rich and powerful are threatened, their lackeys, some of which is Newshound’s focus, are given their orders and the propaganda begins.

I’m reading a very good book, I think, at the moment: The Dawn Of Everything, by Davids Graeber and Wengrow. Maybe it’s my persona or just current circumstances, but when I give myself over to thinking too much of what I read and think of what humanity could of been, I do suffer melancholia. So, then I pop in my DVD of The ‘Burbs, with Tom Hanks and ’verrrry interesting’ Artie Johnson (anyone remember Laugh In?) and have some out loud laughs and then I can sleep again.

I wish so often that the democrats had a well organized
communication systems across all media as the scum pond inhabitants do but I fear that even if one appeared out of thin air tomorrow and started running at full steam ahead, we’d be so far behind the curve, we’d never catch up. Sigh.

Bemused, Gov DeathSentence, we’ve just discovered, let a million test kits expire rather than distribute them. Here in Brevard County, I was in the ER. I had a fall two days before New Years. Broke my big toe, knee, arm and bruised my hip replacement. All on my right side. No orthopedic doc on duty. I got sent home with a script for one pain pill a day for five days. No beds available! I told the nurse treating me she looked tired. Here in Florida, vaccines aren’t mandatory, unlike where my niece works. This nurse said probably close to 35% of the nurses are unvaccinated in that hospital. Yeah, she was tired.
