Here’s a classic case of Bubble-Think. Its easy to create distractions on Fox to avoid talking about Christie’s scandal. But Christie is not going to get a pass on Bridgegate in other media, and it will be a constant negative topic if he runs for Pres. This short-sighted strategy would work great if Fox were the only media outlet in the world. I think sometimes they forget the rest of us 99% of non-Fox watchers are out here!

Birth control is a daily concern for women. Huckabee minimizes women’s concerns when he fails to comprehend this. His claims – that Dems think this is a woman’s only concern, or that Dems think that birth control is about SEX instead of PREGNANCY- are just weird and reflect only on him.

Agree d d: Fox wants to surgically target Obama as a liar over this when there are many more people who made the same statements. Leading Fox to list of all those who lied about Benghazi would be an excellent way to shut down at least part of their argument. Then they can continue on with the very silly semantic discussion of “Act of Terror” v “Terrorist Act.”

Adam Schiff was a great Dem spokesman to put on Fox. He easily and logically answered all questions very well, leaving Megan to look flustered, desperate and ultimately silly.

To paraphrase an oft heard legal argument: What part of following-the-rules doesn’t Fox understand? That rules are for everyone, not just one’s opponents.

I hope this interview was seen by more Americans who maybe don’t watch Fox or even a lot of news or politics, but who nonetheless got to see the right wing in action— interrupting and asking about none of the real issues important to struggling Americans. Congrats to O’Reilly for standing up for ‘the folks’ whose lives are impacted by the IRS ‘scandal’, Benghazi and the Keystone Pipeline.

Fluke can thank O’Reilly and the right wing for bringing her to national attention and for keeping her in the spotlight. O’Reilly seems to have a thing for her, so I imagine he secretly will be thrilled if she runs for Congress.

Government and feminists are attacking the sacred male pastimes of football watching and gun shooting – according to who or what? These claims are asinine. Fox is just ginning up the sexism and putting ‘male culture under attack’ in anticipation of Hilary’s presidential run. The truth is normal men can handle equality with women, while those who are weak are always ‘under attack’ from someone.

Christie could be impeached for this – if it is found that he knew about the revenge traffic stoppage. There is nothing comparable in Gates’ book. But Hannity’s listeners will never know this because he did not inform them of anything with this segment. Its amazing that people will tune in day after day to hear non-informational news-gossip.

I think Fernandez did make her point that Abu-Jamal’s guilt isn’t taken for granted outside the right wing. Not that any Fox viewer would care. But I think she did her job.

Perhaps Ailes meant people wanted Palin’s political death? But Palin is perfect for Fox – what Ailes wants is a pretty face and an angry message – making sense is not required.

One of Republicans most successful initiatives in the 90s was welfare reform. It was a huge success in getting long-term welfare recipients into the workforce. But today’s Republicans’ never mention it and their followers have largely forgotten about this accomplishment because if they claim welfare reform as a success, then they have less reason to attack the poor for being lazy and less ammunition in trying to take the food out of the mouths of poor children and poor elderly. What is the real reason the right hates food stamps? is it simple jealousy that some people get a benefit that they don’t, or is it simply a greedy desire to keep more of their taxes? Whichever it is we can safely ignore people who can’t articulate any valid proof that food stamps make people lazy.

And Republicans will win in a landslide… Apparently learning nothing from the experiences of Rove and Morris, Republicans continue to delude themselves that the world will order itself according to their most desperate wishes. It makes for a fun job, if you can keep it, Krauthammer.

I think these men need to take personal responsibility for their wussiness and stop blaming society for their inability to look in the mirror and see a man looking back at them. Perhaps if there were an NFL team called the Springfield Pussy Men people could rally around the awful image of a mascot which insults macho men. But since there isn’t any such thing, and nothing close to it, perhaps they should listen to how whiny they sound on this topic and get a clue.

Well Eileen, you could look at the tax rates in our country during the years when the middle class blossomed and income was more equal, 1945-1980. You would note that the highest tax bracket was 70-91% on the wealthiest, and you might consider that caused the wealthiest to spend more money on their employees’ pay and benefits and/or reinvest in their businesses rather than let the government take the money in the form of high taxes. The removal of this very high tax bracket coincides with the beginning of the decline in the middle class and the spike in incomes of the very wealthiest Americans.

But I’m sure you will find this explanation somehow just doesn’t do it for you, amiright?

The ‘war on babies,’ is of course a ‘war on unwanted pregnancy,’ but why be accurate when you can drive people insane with anger using trigger words? Personally I prefer the very catchy ‘War on Sperm.’

Ah so Santa has always been white in every Christmas ad Megyn has ever seen, ergo he must now always be white——or it was just a joke! Take your pick of whichever excuse you prefer…do lawyers study logic during their many years of education? Megyn put little effort into her defense because people with big, loud, ugly opinions don’t care what you think, they just want to enjoy the attention you give them. Congrats on your success Megyn!

The lack of self-awareness displayed in this interview is just stunning. Personal attacks (on Democrats) are Fox’s raison d’etre. If they even understood what they were talking about, they would know that attacking a policy means you call the policy Socialist or Marxist, not the person!
