Rep King was on CNN this morning trying bash Obama again for going to fundraisers and also with a bizarre idea that the Pres. should be closing airports to the Russians. King got a lot of pushback on that from another guest. It was such a stupid idea that he abandoned it pretty quickly. Clearly he does better when he is being led through the interview by someone like Megyn who has an agenda and sticks to it.

If its a day ending in the letter y then there has got to be something that will spark a raging fear in the hearts of Fox viewers. Thanks Fox, my dear old dad will probably order another round of Patriot Survival Food after viewing this segment. Which means one day, if I’m lucky, I’ll get to ‘inherit’ several huge boxes of barely edible dry food. I plan to ship it all to Hannity in care of Fox.

Drug Cartels want to run their drugs easily across the border and then sell them easily to people in the US. Terrorists want to cause chaos and destruction. These goals aren’t in accord. The behavior of terrorists tends to cause additional security on the border which would limit cartels ability to cross their drugs.

Perry’s gut I must be a swampy place where all the bad guys are all the same. A smarter man might use his brains to tell his guts to shut up and stop being so stupid and afraid of his own shadow.

Just don’t ask how long the national guard will be on the border (forever); what trade agreement Bill is referring to (nothing specific); or why he thinks the US could renege on a trade agreement just because it wants to (we shouldn’t have to obey laws and treaties if they become inconvenient!). Also don’t ask what’s involved in ‘sealing’ the border. (I always picture Saran Wrap-but that can’t be right!).

The ‘War on Women’ features hundreds (perhaps thousands?) of legislative attempts to curtail the medical rights women have had for the past 40 years. These legislative and judicial efforts are taking place in virtually every state as well as the federal level. The efforts to address women’s long-standing unequal income levels are today, on the back burner. The ‘War on Men" on the other hand encompasses a protest at a particular event which promotes the idea that rape is a crime that women have invented. The protest includes people and signs and shouting. There are no legislative efforts to limit men’s rights that I’m aware of.

Double standard much Fox? Seriously, are they trying to get women to tune out, or do they just not have enough women watching to even care about them as an audience?

Obama and Ayers. This is kind a old stuff—other than the interview, of course. I guess this seems like a big GET for Kelly. I mean I know that the Right Wing believes that the Pres has already destroyed the country three dozen times over since he took office, but you gotta be a total fanatic to care about this so-called relationship. This just seems to be digging especially deep in order to put a little negativity out there on Obama. Some of Fox’s stories lately seem like desperation. Its just so boring!

Terry O’Neill was getting her points across quickly and clearly, so of course Hannity and Loesch needed to keep talking over her, lest people watching Hannity get both sides of the story-oops! The rights of corporations trumping the rights of women (and federal law) is the bottom line here. And no amount of spin is going to change the impact on women – financially and emotionally. I do feel betrayed by the SCOTUS decision.

There is no way such a broad idea as a deeply held religious conviction can be limited to just women’s birth control. But I hope that this idiotic decision will eventually lead to employers getting out of their employees health care by way of universal health care.

Lol. The Do Nothing Congress has been sitting on its hands for so long, they seem confused as to what branch of government they are and what their responsibilities are. Hint: its not judicial. And the preferred method of leadership for Boehner would be ….. legislation, not courtroom shenanigans. Alas the Tea Party House will continue to NOT legislate, leaving a gaping hole where the other two branches of government will have to fill the void.

O’Reilly looked silly and uninformed – embracing knee jerk, delusional ideas with no knowledge of the border or current immigration policies. I wonder what possessed Hume to embrace facts and a nuanced understanding of the situation in this instance?

There is nothing going on that couldn’t be solved by passage of a comprehensive immigration reform law. As long as Congress avoids reform, the flood of immigrants will continue, fence or no fence. Congress: Make laws not politics!

A clever kid can figure out how to give the speech they want to give without breaking the rules. I’ve heard a few of those speeches. This dolt just wanted an opportunity to spout his personal beliefs (and get on TV) any moron can do that!

Reading Palin’s run on sentence of tossed word salad, it occurs to me that although she wasn’t the first woman to run for VP, I suspect she was the first woman with unmedicated ADHD to do so.

Ablow should be wearing a clown suit, or perhaps dressed as a court jester. If he’s never met someone, then his “analysis” must be more a reflection of self than anything else. And he is one disturbed dude!

So where do Palin and Hannity stand on fully funding the VA? ………..crickets. When we went to war, we dumped containers of money into Iraq and Afghanistan with complete abandon. Now the Repub’s in Congress say “Oh sorry, the country is broke no increase in funding for you.”

Palin can talk about her strong feelings for the military all day, but that will not improve the VA one bit. If we owe our vets anything, then we certainly owe them the funds to take care of their health, like we promised!

“…but it seems to me like it would be relatively easy to fix some of this stuff.” Fixing things takes action – he just has no clue that he himself is a member of the Do-Nothing Party.

Hmm. This distraction certainly kept the topic of gun control off the air. I’ve seen other rants that blame porn for the killing spree. But on Fox there’s not much mention of how people who’ve been seeing psychiatrists all their lives maybe shouldn’t be allowed to buy guns. Certain mental illness combined with guns seems to be the constant factors of these mass killings—except on Fox where shiny outrage rules.

There’s playing the race card and then there’s playing the pro-racism card. Fox loves a story to amp up their racist oldster audience. But what’s Megan’s excuse for being a pro-racism moron?
