Would we ever see Fox do a story about the growing use of Viagra by seniors by interviewing only women doctors, women psychiatrists and wives of ‘users’? I’m fairly certain the women impacted by Viagra would have differing views than the men who use it—(4 hour erections? I don’t think so!)

Apparently the only reasons for O’Reilly to cover a story are: a. Ratings b. Damage Obama. At least he’s honest about that. But he seems completely unaware that American women love our birth control and are really unhappy that we have to pay for it, while men get Viagra covered by insurance.

Personal responsibility, family values, respect for law, all of these staunch Fox memes go right out the window when some person or group they admire has done wrong, then its all about excuses.

I have sympathy for the difficult situations we’ve sent our soldiers into. They are not the same people they were when they went to war. War is very difficult- that’s why we have military discipline and rule books- to keep our guys from getting out of line.

I hope my kid doesn’t hear about this behavior, and if he does, I hope he doesn’t hear someone excuse it.

Wow. I wonder if they’ll let Perry back on the air any more? Hitting another conservative with a reality-based attack that requires just a little bit of gray-area thinking! Catholic Social Services closing their foster-care and adoption programs due to loss of federal funds does not equal a “shut down” as they continue programs like homeless shelters and feeding the poor—programs in which they apparently don’t engage in discrimination. The right wing champions the idea of turning all social and welfare programs over to churches—yet apparently churches can’t do it without government help !
