Such a limited repertoire Bill has. “Flood the streets with police!” must sound awesome to law and order types but not so great for the “No more taxes” crowd. But Bill doesn’t have to provide actual solutions to problems, he only has to sell mindless sound bites to his eager parrots. Of course the fact that Chicago already has stop and frisk means Bill knows exactly zero about the situation there and is talking out of his other big hole-again!

Unfortunately for Kelly the right has one set of basic opinions that all rightwingers must share or they must be ejected from the group. Apparently the thought police at Fox aren’t doing their jobs, which means the entire network is now contaminated by this one nonconservative opinion. I guess they’ll have to start up an even more conservative news channel now that Fox is solidly in the liberal camp. ;)

Why are they still trying to smear Oprah over this? Her story must have hit a raw nerve over at Fox. These cuts, sadly, make the dividing line between income groups even bigger. People at Neil’s pay level don’t need to know about the suffering their economic philosophy causes—if they don’t want to know. It would be more accurate to state that the economy is recovering despite spending cuts. We could have had a real recovery if not for the neadanderthals in the GOP trying to make reality fit their philosophy through propaganda.

I guess if the three aggressors had successfully convinced the police that the victim was the aggressor and they were only protecting themselves from him, so that they were not charged with the attack, then I might see some similarities with the Trayvon case, some need for Civil rights intervention. ButI can’t imagine that actually happening anywhere in this country. So Fox must very tediously drag out this very dissimilar story which makes no sense—I guess—unless you are a racist who can’t see anything but race.

I wonder how many Fox interns are tasked with searching the media for black on white crime to be used in Fox’s race propaganda. Yet this rather non-racial story is the best they can come up with? I am left to wonder if there are no cases of racially motivated black on white crime. And what happened with that other story of the poor baby shot in the face by would-be thieves. The last I heard the police were investigating the parents for the crime.

I have a health savings account. What it gets me is a tax break on the $7-8,000 I pay for hospital, prescription and doctor visits each year, every year. You have to have a high deductible insurance plan in order to open one. There’s nothing magic about this account. It probably sounds great to someone (like Hannity) who doesn’t need or qualify for it. Frankly I’d rather have a good insurance plan.

Its this type of fact-free, feels-right-to-me “social program” that gets lots of money spent on do-nothing slogan programs. (Just say No, Abstinence Only) I’m sure every Republican in the House would vote for this – in exchange for say, defunding the pregnancy coverage in Medicare. Expensive ideas based on emotional reactions or non-professional psychology need to be laughed out of our national conversation. Bill has no clue what makes other people tick and he thinks his lame analysis of people is right-on. What a joke this man is.
