Who knew that Fox News, the bastion of holy heterosexuality and friend to homophobic hate groups, was a tool of the insidious "gay agenda?" You can imagine my shock and horror when I ran across the Raw Story article, whilst not under the influence of any substance legal or otherwise, which reported that OMG "Fox News Is Turning Gay" and that Megyn Kelly is, as a "pro-gay advocate, a huge part of this turn to the dark side. I am chagrined and appalled that Fox News, the home for "family values" has, according to America's Survival Inc.,"contributed greatly to the growing pro-homosexual political correctness in U.S. culture" and in do doing, is contributing to the demise of this once, great Christian nation. And who knew that, according to these defenders of American morality that Fox News is "unfair, unbalanced, and afraid." (Actually Newshounds but whatever...)
True story. According to a 92 page report, written by Peter Labarbera, head of the SPLC homophobic (and IMHO batshit crazy) hate group "Americans for Truth About Homosexuality." The report was published by America's Survival, a group dedicated to truly batshit crazy conspiracies about how Muslim Commies are out to get us. It is headed by Cliff Kincaid whose latest conspiracies are directed towards the LGBT community. So we're talking some serious loonie- toonie stuff here. The report alleges that because Megyn Kelly (not exactly a hard core liberal) has shown enlightened views on LGBT issues, she is a "new hero to the gay lobby." The report begins with a photo of Kelly at the 2010 National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association. It quotes Kincaid's thoughts on Kelly's move to prime time: “Pushing Sean Hannity out of the 9:00 p.m. slot, to make way for pro-homosexual advocate Megyn Kelly, is another sign of the channel’s left-ward drift and decline."
Fox News has been repeatedly cited by GLAAD for offensive coverage of LGBT issues. Last week, on a number of shows, hosts and guests *attacked the new California student transgender rights bill. Not only was the law mocked; but the hosts of Fox & Friends agreed with Michelle Malkin's transphobic comment that the law was "social engineering run amuck." Bill O'Reilly repeatedly denounces gay marriage as affront to the "traditional" America, the decline of which he is constantly lamenting. So who knew that Fox News is "going gay?"
*I didn't write up Sean Hannity's show during which the hateful Dana Loesch and the hateful Hannity displayed an amazing ignorance and insensitivity to the issue. You can see it here. And BTW, bathrooms were, as in the other shows, a very, big deal.
Unfortunately, there’s a cruel ring of truth to that- Kelly has to have a deep personal stake in anything to care about it. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that a close relative came out during her maternity leave.

It’s actually a riotously funny day when the evil Fox Network is just not quite crazy enough for the base THEY enabled. We tried to warn them….once you release the ‘stoopit’, it never ends well!
