Poor Sean Hannity! Just when he was ready to settle into using Bob Gates’ new book to relentlessly smear President Obama and Hillary Clinton, along came Gov. Chris Christie’s Bridgegate scandal and stole the limelight! So what else could he do but call on his Fox News colleagues Eric Bolling and Kimberly Guilfoyle to accuse the media of doing Obama’s and Clinton’s bidding for them.
Before he called on Bolling and Guilfoyle, Hannity spent more than 9 minutes arguing that the Christie scandal pales in comparison to all that dirt he was so looking forward to throwing at Obama and Clinton. As if Hannity would not have gleefully seized on Bridgegate in a New Jersey Minute had Obama or Clinton been involved.
But since it involved a Republican – and one with a decent chance of winning the White House in 2016 – Hannity sneered that Christie’s scandal is merely about “traffic jams on a bridge.”
“It seems just a bit ironic that this comes just days after a much more serious accusation, in this case involving President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton surfaced about their own admissions of playing politics (about the surge in Iraq).” Hannity said. He asked his guests, “Do you think that this is a distraction in any way?”
Shocker! They did!
Guilfoyle – who seems willing to say anything she thinks will get her props – said, “It’s really conspicuous timing… And it’s also no surprise the way the media has chosen to handle the two very differently in terms of their newsworthiness.” Although Guilfoyle acknowledged that the Christie scandal is newsworthy, she announced that it pales in comparison to Gates. Later, she said, “The mainstream media… just likes to cover up when it’s liberals and when it’s conservatives, blow it up.”
Bolling added, “I can’t believe that (the Gates story) lasted one day and that we’re distracted by four-hour delays at the bridge that not many people care about other than the left-wing media – to take a shot at Republicans.”
All three of these purported media truthers conveniently forgot that the Christie scandal has been simmering for weeks.
But more importantly, if the Christie story really is some liberal media conspiracy designed to overshadow the “real” news about Gates, Obama and Clinton, why didn’t Fox just run with it and continue downplaying Christie?
I think we all know the answer: Because questions about the mob-like/Nixonian tactics of top-level aides to a popular governor and potential president are a lot more compelling to viewers than what a former Secretary of Defense says President Obama and Hillary Clinton said about a George W. Bush tactic seven years ago in a war we no longer a part of.

Seriously, every time I hear that “code word” slogan, I wonder if they know it’s basically a confession that the person saying it thinks only white people can be racist. You don’t see the NBPP saying anti-racist is anti-black, or the Latin Kings saying anti-Racist is anti-Latino, those are hate groups that advocate supremacy over whites…
Slanthead may have little use for Christie these days (except, as we’ve seen over the last few days, yet another excuse to attack Obama), but at one time, Hannity thought Christie was the cat’s meow!
Back in 2009, when the fatso was running for N.J. governor the first time, against Jon Corzine, Slanthead slobbered over Christie almost every day on the radio; countless interviews, endorsements ad nauseam…
During that campaign, Christie often displayed his real character: Jersey thug! That was the first time I heard/saw him and I immediately labeled him a bully.
Hannity claimed he alone was responsible for Christie’s win, but most intelligent observers credited the win to the fact that more N.J. voters cast ballots against Corzine — who was quite unlikeable — rather than for Christie.
BTW, the family of that 91-year-old woman says she was going to die anyone, so that won’t be an issue, but we’ve certainly not seen the end of this scandal. More and more details will emerge and there will undoubtedly be many who were put at severe risk; not just inconvenienced. I’m sure we’ll see both civil and criminal trials!
My prediction: Christie will not only never be President, but there’s a good chance he won’t finish his term as governor!
The Fox “News” cafeteria Catholics seem to forget that a 91 year-old woman died because of traffic delays.
Christie’s henchmen/woman are 100% responsible for this woman’s death. Criminal charges will probably be filed against them, and once that occurs, the canaries will start singing.
Hannocchio never changed his stripes. Here’s a little gem about this clown. His humble beginnings in politics began in Huntsville when he was a mouthpiece for WVNN radio. There was a woman named Leah who use to listen to this clown on a regular bases. She would urge others to listen to his little show. One time, she invited him to a campaign fundraiser. This woman was pro-NRA/second amendment broad. BTW, Hannocchio was terrible on the air.

Shhh…Hannocchio actually wore a tux to his wedding. He had jet-black hair, thin with no pot belly, standing with his best man. Hannocchio would blow a gasket if that photo went viral.
BTW, Hannocchio has a desire for a film career, but he can’t act. He appeared in a faith film produced by a man connected with him.

It’s not easy!
But if I don’t want to listen to music (and keep my sanity), there’s not many choices these days in NYC for over-the-air talk.
For those who don’t know, the only commercial “progressive” station, WWRL (actually, the most mismanaged radio station in the nation — they specialized in dead air) has gone to all Spanish programming.
I really don’t miss Ed Schultz, and I never could stomach the 3-6 ultra-socialist Thom Hartmann (who I hold fully responsible for death, destruction and economic ruin under Dubya because he, Hartmann, implored listeners to vote for Ralph Nader instead of Gore).
… all of this is really another thread, someday.
Meanwhile, as I get ready to go outside, Slanthead is at it again this afternoon, using Bridgegate as an excuse to bring up Fast and Furious, the IRS, Benghazi, Sibelius, “dirty air, dirty water”…. blah.. blah… yuck!
Hannity is in full bore regurgitation mode. Hold your noses and get the disinfectant ready!
Actually I think this was cleverly orchestrated by none other than Roger Ailes, to obviously draw attention away from his more pay for sex scandal and questions that America would be asking today like, who has accepted his offer and who now is getting an extra $100 a month?
He spent almost his whole three hours asking everyone — his guests, his callers, the few listeners (now that his audience has shrank to pitiful lows): “Christie fired his aide; why didn’t Obama fire anyone?”
“Nobody got fired over Bengahzi, nobody got fired over Fast and Furious, Kathleen Sebelius didn’t get fired!”
We’ve seen this so many times. Slanthead — more than any other right wing slimeball on the air in Amerika — will take any issue, any story, any tidbit and twist and contort it so he can trash Obama!
Over and over all afternoon, Hannity kept this up. He’s often worse than the most starved dog ravaging a bone!
Slanthead didn’t even spend much time on his vaunted plan to end poverty in this country (“Drill everywhere, frack everywhere!”).
The impact of the lane closings, the damage to Christie’s political future, none of this was of any consequence or interest to Hannity; what only matters to him is the “hypocrisy” of the left for not firing anyone! This is such a joke, coming from the undisputed king of hypocrisy and sanctimony!
The only time Slanthead deviated from these attacks was during the last half hour, when his “producer” Linda (who speaks on air with him quite a bit since the “new Sean Hannity show” emerged) goaded Hannity to talk about his wedding anniversary. Mostly inane nonsense, except for Slanthead revealing that all, “every one” of his wife’s friends urged her not to marry him. What did they know? She was supposed to have been a journalist herself. Obviously not very bright.
But let’s hope she’s smart enough to help her husband with his diminished mental capacity. I didn’t hear Slanthead make any major gaffes yesterday, but just this week, he’s been corrected twice: first by his “go to guy” for climate change denial, pinhead Bastardi who had to tell Seanny that there are no polar bears in Antarctica, and then the other day by “producer” Linda who told Hannity that Newfoundland is NOT pronounced “New Finland”…
I knew this would happen, and I tried to warn you people that this Sean character would figure it out, but did you listen to me? No you didn’t!
Now if you’ll excuse me it’s back to our secret headquarters on the remote island to plot our next evil plan.
