@Kevin – someone else on Twitter pointed out that the smear of Cuomo is likely linked to trying to get him out of office and replaced by one of two Chump supporting candidates who would then put the kybosh on any State of NY investigations into Chump’s misdeeds and issue a pardon. IMO this is a highly likely scenario. Just more dirty BS from Chump. He cannot be gone soon enough.
As for Newson, I live in CA and concur. They just want him out to have his scalp and because the repubs in CA cannot win anything anymore. They’re pissed off at losing and can’t find any way to win. Newson has done as good a job as anybody in this entire effed up mess that is COVID. There is no logic to the recall argument – it’s only anger and white grievance politics, fueled by FOX.
