I don’t know what Huck is talking about. Who ever apologizes for their faith? Nobody that I ever heard. Likewise they seem to think that students and teachers at a secular public school have given up their faiths simply by attending the school? I think Fox has hit bottom in its quest to distract viewers from discussing the effects of a culture awash in weapons of mass killing.

Another American who inadvertently broke Mexican laws was last month released after 7 months in Mexican prison. His crime was making a wrong turn into Mexico while driving a semi full of ammunition. But Fox never mentioned the plight of Jabin Akeem Bogan.

What the What? Did Mad Men get cancelled? Fox seems to be cashing in on some really retro ideas lately. They are doubling down(again) on some very unpopular and repugnant ideas about women and human nature. Fox folks seem most comfortable with the most simplistic ideas about people and behavior. A good therapist would have quite a challenge helping any of these folks to engage in some realistic self reflection.

Prior to Reagan this man would have lived in a mental hospital and not on the street. These are the real options. Forced confinement or the freedom to choose the street. Like a lot of complex problems in life, there is no easy or good answer to mental illness. Sadly O’Reilly’s knee jerk, black and white “analysis” leaves too much out of the picture, but at least O’Reilly and his viewers get to feel superior and justified in money-grubbing Scrooges. And a curse on O’Reilly for not mentioning the man is a veteran.

Its a sad state of affairs when a national platform is used to promote very anti-Christian attitudes in the name of Jesus AND in the name of Christmas. As some people say, there is a strong likelyhood that O’Reilly is the anti-christ, which is a logical conclusion considering his hypocritical and obnoxious use of Christianity as a political weapon, and his claim that it is not a religion.

As I prepare to attend the family Thanksgiving featuring frequent bouts of political ranting from the social security recipients of the family, I am brushing up on current right wing talking points in an effort to steel myself from wasting an afternoon responding to them.
