Fox News Ignored Ferguson Violence Last Night But Re-Aired Bill Ayers Interviews

Posted by Ellen · August 18, 2014 5:46 PM · 5 reactions

 FoxNews.com_top_story.png

CNN and MSNBC covered the violence in Ferguson, Missouri last night but Fox News preferred to rerun Huckabee, Stossel and Megyn Kelly's old interviews with Bill Ayers. You know, the ones in which she dishonestly tried to paint Obama as the BFF of an "unrepentant terrorist." #FoxNewsPriorities.

Fox & Friends Attacks NYTimes Reporter Whose Tweet Lampooned Fox's 'War On Christians' Obsession

Posted by Priscilla · August 18, 2014 12:52 PM · 4 reactions

One of Fox News' top propaganda memes is the bogus, Christian right claim that American Christians are being constantly besieged by secular, atheist, and gay "agendas."  And it's just not your humble correspondent who has noticed that Fox News utilizes battle imagery in framing the message of the godly us vs. the evil them, with Fox's "war on Christmas" and "war on Christians" as their most apocalyptic battle motifs. On Friday, the NY Times' Jeremy Peters issued out an amusing and spot on tweet which took note of how Fox News is now linking to a hashtag "war on Christians" asked if the "war on Christmas" has been "metastasized" into the "war on Christians." (Answer is yes!) Not more than 48 hours passed before Fox geared up for battle. Showing that while they can give it, they can't take it, Sunday's Fox & Friends misrepresented Peter's tweet in order to attack him (and the NY Times) for supposedly joking about persecuted Christians and attacking Fox News. But ironically, their focus on their favorite meme of Christian victimhood underscored the truthiness of Peters' tweet!

Was Sarah Palin High As A Kite? Again?

Posted by Ellen · August 18, 2014 9:00 AM · 9 reactions

A few weeks ago, I posted a video in which Sarah Palin seemed seriously drunk or stoned as she gave a speech in Denver. Last week, the Majority Report caught her in the same kind of behavior on her new online television channel.

Dr. Alveda King Tells Fox To Lay Off Jackson And Sharpton In Ferguson

Posted by Ellen · August 17, 2014 11:24 PM · 1 reaction

Alveda_King.png

Martin Luther King’s niece, Dr. Alveda King, is one of Fox News’ stable of right-wing, African American black attackers and no fan of Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton. Yet on Friday night, she not only failed to take a host’s bait to attack Jackson or Sharpton in Ferguson, Missouri but she batted it away by saying “It’s very important” not to attack “those who are attempting to help.” Of course, her words fell on deaf ears.

Birther Fox Military Analyst Wants To Run Obama Supporters Off The Road

Posted by Ellen · August 17, 2014 6:56 PM · 9 reactions

cowan.png

Fox News military analyst Bill Cowan revealed his rabid partisanship recently when he said he hates President Obama and his supporters so much that when he sees an Obama bumper sticker, his anger becomes “overwhelming” and “I want to run 'em off the road. I don't care if it's a woman." He later described Obama supporters as the “something-for-nothing people.” Cowan also said “we don’t know” if Obama is a legitimate president.

O’Reilly To Sharpton And Jackson: Get Off My Ferguson Lawn!

Posted by Ellen · August 17, 2014 5:25 PM · 5 reactions

OReilly_Ferguson.png

Even if you agree with Bill O’Reilly’s sentiments about “racial agitators” Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton in Ferguson, Missouri, his whitesplaining scolding about their behavior is not exactly the kind of talk that’s likely to soothe any tensions. In fact, it looks a lot like the behavior O’Reilly was condemning in others.

Bill O'Reilly's Attack On Planned Parenthood Includes Condemnation Of Consensual BDSM!

Posted by Priscilla · August 16, 2014 6:06 PM · 6 reactions

Planned Parenthood is an organization that empowers women by assisting them to control their fertility. And that's why the "traditionalist," anti-choice, misogynist  Bill O'Reilly hates Planned Parenthood and never wastes an opportunity to attack it with "pro-life" propaganda and lies. In his crusade against this organization and women's health, he has embraced the virginal James O'Keefe protege Lila Rose, a good girl who, like Bill, is on a mission from God to destroy Planned Parenthood via her sting videos which have yet to yield a crime conviction or clinic shut-down. Her newest strategy consists of edited videos which show Planned Parenthood employees honestly answering a "15" year old's questions about BDSM which, for godly anti-choicers, is a not a topic suitable for teens - but, a topic that gets Bill's juices flowing. On Wednesday, O'Reilly's attack on Planned Parenthood included some kink talk and, as a bonus, Bill's declaration that Planned Parenthood is guilty of breaking the law in another case currently under investigation.

Ferguson Robbery Video An Excuse For Racist Hatred Toward Michael Brown And Other African Americans

Posted by Ellen · August 16, 2014 9:00 AM · 5 reactions

Ferguson_1.png

Fox Nation has as its top story the “questions swirling” over a surveillance video purportedly showing Michael Brown committing a robbery shortly before he was stopped and killed by the police. Fox Nation’s headline states that the robbery was “not related” to the subsequent police stop – and, therefore, his killing. But Fox Nation readers don’t need no stinkin’ facts to “know” that it proves Brown deserved to die. Warning: disturbing language to follow.
