Bill O'Reilly Continues War On Planned Parenthood, War On Women

Posted by Priscilla -26.60pc on January 13, 2012 · Flag

Despite Fox News' claim that there is a war on Christmas, there is no such thing. But the war on women's reproductive rights is very real and Fox News is doing all in its power to aid and abet those who are waging this war which seeks to criminalize abortion/contraception. Short of that, these zealots seek to defund Planned Parenthood which will make make reproductive health care less accessible and affordable for those who are low income. Bill O'Reilly and Laura Ingraham, members of a church which is also a powerful religious lobby that seeks to eliminate reproductive rights, are in the Praetorian Guard in this war on women. Ingraham, who is considered a "pro-life luminary," uses her platform on Fox to promote anti-choice propaganda and attack Planned Parenthood as does Bill O'Reilly. Last week (1/4), in addition to providing another shout out to their anti-choice audience, Bill and Laura continued their lying crusade against Planned Parenthood. One assumes that they've earned their get out of Purgatory free card with bonus points.

While Bill did admit that Planned Parenthood provides birth control mechanisms (WTF?) and abortions, he said that "if it were up to him" they would get no money. He accused them of "dancing around" law that mandates that federal funds can't go to abortions. Sister Mary Laura wearing her GREAT BIG CROSS cuz she's a GREAT BIG CATHOLIC, provided the tired old anti-choice canard that the money that goes to Planned Parenthood is "fungible" in that federal money (used for contraceptive services, STI and HIV prevention and treatment, and cancer screening) frees up money for abortions. (Of course the same argument could be made for federal funding of Catholic health care and social services which frees up money for religious purposes and to pay those who defend pedophile priests but whatever...)

While good Catholic Ingraham did admit that Planned Parenthood does "other things for sure," she stated that "abortion is the core business" which is a lie. (It's only 3%) Good Catholic Bill advanced the lie with his validation: "core business no doubt about it." O'Reilly, whose wife (one assumes) didn't need Planned Parenthood, engaged in the popular anti-choice exercise of counting fetuses in claiming that "900 fetuses a day are eliminated" by Planned Parenthood and that's a big number. (But if they had been born to poor women, Bill and Laura would deny them a social safety net). Celibate (one assumes) Ingraham claimed that the number of Planned Parenthood abortions is equal to the size of Anaheim,California. (And that proves what?) Bill, who has never (one assumes) been in a Planned Parenthood claimed that "when you walk into" the clinic, "you know why they're there." (WTF? It looks like any other medical office!!!)  Ingraham provided stats to show that the adoption referrals are way less than abortions. (And that proves what?)

At this point Father Bill started preaching. "We all know what they're in business to do. It's really wrong on the fiscal level, wrong on a moral level, it's wrong on the constitutional level. It's really, really wrong." Laura lied again when she said that 56 million is spent on lobbying. (The money is for public policy which goes for a variety of purposes including public relations). She said "it's important for them to elect democrats." Bill, who prophesized that Planned Parenthood would be defunded last year (it didn't), predicted that "if a republican gets in that will be the first to go, along with PBS." His soul sistah responded "I hope so."

It's ironic, don't ya think, that, accused sexual harasser and self-admitted sociopath, Bill O'Reilly, who was given a "courage" award for his *crusade against abortion provider Dr. Tiller that created a climate of hate in which an abortion doctor was murdered, thinks that Planned Parenthood is "immoral." But he "fights for the rights of the unborn," so it's all good. Nice to see "fair & balanced" Fox News give him a platform to do his anti-choice thing!

*While Alan Colmes apologized to the Santorum family for his remarks about Rick Santorum's baby, Bill O'Reilly has never apologized to the Tiller family for his unsubstantiated attacks on Tiller as a "killer."

With Billy’s luck with women we can see why he’s launching a crusade against them.

The masses should ask Ms. Laura her views on single women with children. Since the Fox “News” frauds believe in a two-parent home, her response should be very interesting.

I’m sick and tired of listening to sexually frustrated over the top hallelua shouting closet deviants and aging spinsters on how the rest of us women should live our sexual lives,my body belongs to me and I do with it what I think is best.My suggestion is that Bile and Ingrate look after theirs.
