Bill O'Reilly is an aging Catholic "traditionalist" who uses his show, on the "Fair & Balanced" Fox News network, to promote his and his fellow "pro-lifers" hatred of Planned Parenthood, an organization that serves the health needs of low income women. As a self proclaimed fighter for the rights of the unborn (women, not so much), he has unabashedly promoted the sting videos of Lila Rose, the virginal diva of the anti-choice movement who specializes in "sting videos" which purport to show Planned Parenthood workers in violation of the law. As documented on Media Matters, the videos of the well funded Rose, who started her "sting" career with the human slime video journalist James O'Keefe, are hoaxes which have not resulted in any criminal prosecutions. Her group, "Live Action" just released a video that had all the anti-choice crazies in high dudgeon. Once again, it's a bogus, manufactured controversy. But that didn't stop "baby saver" Bill from showing a little love for Lila whose ineffective crusade to shut down Planned Parenthood dovetails nicely with pro-life "Courage Award" winner Bill O'Reilly.

Tonight, Bill described how the "pro-life" (Note use of "pro-life" as opposed to anti-abortion) "Live Action" (wasn't Bill into live action with a certain sex accoutrement?) sets up "sting videos across the country on abortion matters." (Translation - they do videos involving Planned Parenthood which are a bunch of junk). He reported that Lila's group went into a Texas Planned Parenthood where they received information pertaining to getting an abortion based on the sex of the fetus. He played part of the video. Bill wanted to know if "we're nowChina." (WTF!!! Nobody was forcing the "stinger" to have an abortion.) He then made the batshit crazy assertion that if Planned Parenthood is advising women to abort because of gender choice, then "we are China and you should remember that when some famous person or politician endorses Planned Parenthood." He then introduced a giggling Lila Rose.

Bill asked Lila if there was anything that was edited out "to mitigate this atrocity." Lila described, in detail, what else was on the tape; i.e. the Planned Parenthood worker advising the actor, who claimed that she wanted a male child, to schedule a late term abortion if the fetus were female. Bill sighed as she said it "was a terrific disregard for human life." Bill launched into a rant about how Planned Parenthood receives his tax money and how he's paying for a Planned Parenthood worker to say "I'll set you up, we'll get rid of the fetus, we'll set you up, we'll make it happen." (Those were not the words of the worker) He continued to bray about how this is "morally wrong" and how he "doesn't want his money to go to that..." Given what happened to Dr. Tiller, after Bill's national jihad against him, it was unsettling when Bill expressed hope that "something should happen to her" (the worker). He whined that only four states prohibit gender based abortions and "this is crazy." Rose attributed the lack of laws to "groups like Planned Parenthood who claim to support women but who fight abortion restrictions at any time for any reason." Bill responded "so is President Obama. He doesn't want any restriction on any abortion." He repeated his earlier comment about when people hear anybody who "says how great Planned Parenthood is, think back to this thing in Austin Texas where now, if you don't like the gender of the baby that you're carrying" (he clapped his hands) "bang, you can kill it." He shook his head and grimaced.

 Is it just a coincidence that this "sting" took place one day before the House vote on banning sex selection abortions - a bill that targets minority communities associated with sex selection abortion - a bill brought to you from the Republican congress that took over the House with promises of limited government and fiscal responsibility?!  As Bill tapes his show in the afternoon, he was probably unaware that Planned Parenthood, which opposes sex selection abortions, terminated the employment of the worker for not following protocol. Let's see if Bill does an update. But once again, "we're in China" - seriously?

And BTW, despite Bill's prediction and his advocacy, Planned Parenthood hasn't been defunded.
