How much longer is FoxNoise going to let Ms Koonst appear on their programs? It seems really odd that they’d have let her make a return after she tore into the hosts on her last appearance.
I hope she’s not waiting for another invitation. FoxNoise can’t let a strong real Democratic voice make too many appearances; she might actually start influencing some of the FoxNoise sheeple.

Dave, we don’t want to hear Bill’s retraction. We all know that somehow he’d turn the decision into a “win” for him. He’d manage to leave out just enough information so his viewers would believe that BillO The Great managed—single-handedly—to convince the South African government to deny parole to Pistorius.

truman, Planned Parenthood doesn’t go out and interfere with people’s reproductive behaviors and activities (that would be the Republicon Party). PP generally waits for people to come to them. Some people connected with PP will do community outreach—like taking condoms to bars and nightclubs or asking to hang flyers in local businesses or going door-to-door to advertise the center—but they don’t pry into what people are doing in private; however, when funding doesn’t allow for it, either none gets done or volunteers do it on their own.

Perhaps the “bishop” needs to be reminded of Exodus 20:16 (“Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor”) and the words of both Jesus and Paul, if he’s so inclined as to pooh-pooh the Old Testament as being rendered null by Jesus’s existence. Jesus, in Matthew 19, says in order to have eternal life, one must “keep the commandments,” specifically restating “Thou shalt not bear false witness.” Paul, in Romans 13:9, repeats it.

@ Jimmy Jarrett: Maybe you need to learn how to COMPREHEND what you read. You wrote, “At no time was Oreilly [sic] surprised.” And yet, Bill himself is quoted, “Now what’s interesting about the Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago alliance is that it draws an integrated crowd – about 14,000 last night. And there were absolutely no problems. Everybody got along. Everybody enjoyed the show.”
He said “interesting” as though that were something unusual. He also said “And there were absolutely no problems. Everybody got along.” Again—as though that were something unusual FOR A RACIALLY-MIXED CROWD.
Child, with O’Reilly, you’ve got to look for the SUBTEXT (it’s really not just O’Reilly; it’s pretty much everyone at FoxNoise). Why in the world would ANYONE make such comments UNLESS they were “surprised” at the audience’s behavior?
I’m also curious as to why you’re even here. You don’t seem to have posted anything on this site before but, for some reason, you feel it necessary to defend O’Reilly’s silly comment. Now, THAT is “sad.”

I didn’t watch the video, but, technically, it was a bipartisan effort. Of course, that bipartisanship was the result of a lot of cooked intelligence and outright LIES. It should also be noted, though, that the bipartisanship was pretty heavily balanced towards one particular party. The House vote was 297 yeas, 133 nays and 3 non-voting. To break those figures down by party: GOP was 215-6-2 and Dem was 82-126-1 (the lone House Independent voted “nay”). The Senate vote went 77 yeas, 23 nays. Broken down by party: GOP was 48-1 and Dem was 29-21 (the lone Senate Independent voted “nay”).
(It’s also a bit funny in retrospect, but Hillary’s vote to authorize the war was held, in 2008, as her biggest “negative” among so-called progressive voters, many of whom had urged her to run against Kerry for the 2004 Dem nomination. But, in 2008, this bloc of “progressive” voters decided to back Obama because of his “opposition” to the war—which, of course, was easy to do when you didn’t actually have to take a stand IN WASHINGTON on the war. And who did Obama pick to be his VP candidate in 2008? Why, Joe Biden. Who voted to authorize the war in Iraq in 2002—just like Hillary. And another big negative against Hillary was her appearance as a Washington insider as well as her age. Biden, of course, had been in the Senate since 1973 and was 4 years, 11 months older than Hillary. And all that talk about “no dynasties” was a bunch of hooey since there’d been serious pressure to get Hillary to run in 2004.)

Alveda, my dear, both your uncle Martin and your daddy, AD, would be so ashamed of you and your toadying for the FoxNoise kkkrew.
Of course, I’d be willing to bet that if Alveda walked her fat ass into the wrong white neighborhood or was driving down the wrong white-patrolled streets and experienced, first-hand, how certain white cops treat Black people, she’d be playing the victim card with a vengeance.
As for her claim to be a “devout” Christian, she’s just as “devout” as the rest of the FoxNoise kkkrew. She picks and chooses what parts of the faith she wishes to adhere and what she chooses to ignore as “irrelevant.” From her size, I’d be willing to bet she’s never passed up a plate of fried shrimp or barbecue pork. And, um, isn’t she kind of NOT married? How can she be a “devout” Christian woman and NOT be married? (Just for the record, she’s been married AND divorced THREE TIMES. Kinda curious. How exactly does that jibe with the view of “traditional marriage” that she espouses?) For that matter, why does she ignore the dictate about women being silent and not seeking authority over men? I’m sure she didn’t get that “doctor” degree simply to sit back and be a good quiet Christian woman. I just did a Wiki search, and it turns out the doctorate is an HONORARY one.
That Wiki search also turned up something very interesting about her relationship with other members of her family. When she ran for US Congress (GA-5) in 1984, her own aunt, the esteemed Coretta Scott King, did NOT endorse Alveda. I always knew that Coretta was a woman of quality and good judgment (and I really wish she were still alive to put Alveda in her place).

You know, Ben, people might be a bit more willing to listen to you if you and the rest of the CONcerned CONservatives would spend even one-hundredth as much time trying to save POST-BORN Black people as you do the fetuses (which, not even God—per His own “Holy Word”—acknowledged as humans UNTIL the “quickening,” meaning “when the baby kicks for the first time”).
Unfortunately, for all you CONcerned CONservatives, the appropriate hashtag would be
#BlackLivesMatterButNotAfterTheyExitTheVagina and you can’t deny it. (There is, of course, a subset of it: #BlackTokensMatter. And you, Mr Carson, are a prime example of it. If your views were more in line with any of the FoxNoise boogeymen—Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Barack Obama—you’d be just as vilified. And any run-ins with the police that led to your “unfortunate” incarceration or death would be YOUR fault.)

I hope Graham gave the proper addresses because, apparently, some of his target (pun not intended) audience went to the wrong place.
Apparently, a Facebook user decided to spoof Target and respond to some “outraged” consumers. (http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/08/13/1411797/-Facebook-user-pretends-to-be-Target-help-desk-and-trolls-incensed-conservatives )
Normally, spoof accounts should be punished but, whoever was behind the spoof needs to be applauded for the way he dealt with the troglodytes. (You really should read some of the “offended” comments and then read the spoofer’s replies.)
The funniest thing about this, though, is that Graham is “bearing false witness” as he does so often. The fact that he lies so often and gets away with it. Since it’s one of those Big Ten Commandments (that Roy Moore and his ilk are always trying to foist on government buildings and property at taxpayer expense), you’d think by now that the Original God Father or the Original Number One Son would’ve gotten around to some good old-fashioned Biblical smiting. (The fact that very little of the divinely-based smiting seems to happen nowadays would suggest that God and Jesus are all a bunch of hooey—especially as God specifically did a whole lot of that smiting stuff back in the day.)

Ironically, if it hadn’t been for Carter in the first place, the Republicons would never have captured all those evangelical Christian and Southern Baptist votes and wouldn’t have become so beholden to the Krazy Khristian Konclave as they have.
It was largely Falwell who led the conservative/evangelical movement into the Republicon Party because they felt that Carter had “abandoned” them. How dare Carter run as a devout Christian but do nothing to overturn abortion and denounce the burgeoning gay rights movement and not install a strict Christian morality on the entire country! Falwell saw Reagan as “his” kind of leader—the one who said all the right things—and held up Reagan as the man who would “save” the USA (of course, Falwell learned his lesson after Reagan repeatedly chose to put politics over religion when necessary, and made certain that his followers would take over the GOP to ensure that religion would trump* politics as often as possible).
*Honestly—there was no pun intended there. It just happened to be the word for the situation.

There’s a piece at DailyKos where it seems that Mr Carson happily defended HIS use of fetal tissue (the same stuff that he and his fellow GOPers are so outraged at Planned Parenthood “selling”) in his own medical research. (http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/08/13/1411829/-Ben-Carson-used-fetal-tissues-in-his-own-research)
From a block quote in the piece:
While opining on the uselessness of fetal tissue research to Megyn Kelly Dr. Carson neglected to mention his own paper Colloid Cysts of the Third Ventricle: Immunohistochemical evidence for nonneuropithelial differentiation published in Hum Pathol 23:811-816 in 1992. The materials and methods describe using “human choroid plexus ependyma and nasal mucosa from two fetuses aborted in the ninth and 17th week of gestation.”
Okay. Maybe “happily defended” isn’t the right phrase—more like “deliberately ignored.” Betcha FoxNoise hasn’t bothered to mention Mr Carson’s own hypocrisy. Why should they? It wouldn’t do to let the sheeple know their latesthouse Negro token isn’t quite the pro-life conservative they’ve been pushing all this time.

Rob, I don’t know where you’re getting your information but there’s been a lot of conflicting responses from BLM that have said the Seattle group IS part of the national group and the protest was approved while others say what you’re saying.
It’s also worth noting that, historically, many grass roots groups have members who claim affiliation with a national organization, especially when the “national organization” doesn’t really have a definite, centralized body.
The funny thing, though, is that BLM seems to be getting far more criticism from the progressive side because of two protests at Sanders’ events and the critics seem to be incredibly white which makes the criticism come off as very patronizing (a lot of the criticism tends to come off sounding like "Now, just be good little Negroes—we white people know what’s best for you ). But you what? Sanders has started paying attention to the protests. (Of course, the real irony is that the BLM protests at Sanders’ events have done to him what so many of his supporters have said Sanders’ run for the nomination has “forced” Hillary to move more leftward.)

Well, it should be noted there was far more diversity among the moderators than there was on the stage taking questions debating.
But, then again, since FoxNoise was acting as host, why would the network have had any non-white moderators? You might as well be complaining about the lack of diversity among the network’s on-air talent the rest of the time. And really. Do you think ANY of the participants in theinterview debate give a crap about any issues that are important to Blacks, Hispanics and other minorities? (The only thing having a Hispanic moderator would’ve done would’ve been to give fodder for another outrageous reason to whine.) And, of course, there’s almost NO chance that a non-white minority acting as a FoxNoise moderator would’ve actually asked anything that really matter to minority groups.
Ellen, I ‘m sorry, but this was a really pointless, baseless attack on Megyn. As you allude in your final comments, why should the network, which hasn’t been exactly “diverse” in front of the cameras with FULL-TIME talent, suddenly feel some responsibility for appearing “diverse” in the debates?
And, let’s also face it: The target audience of this spectacle? Well, apparently, they seem not to care a fig about the black perspective, which has been in the news so much, nor the Hispanic perspective which candidate Donald Trump has made such an issue. And the subjects of voting rights and police brutality are largely ignored by them.
Do those words look somewhat familiar? They’re your closing comments, rewritten to reflect the attitude of your typical FoxNoise audience member.
