Allen West Explains Why We Liberals Are So Afraid of Him
I am still mystified, gentle reader, by the fact that turfed-out-after-his-first-term Congressman Allen West is giving speeches at CPAC and being repeatedly interviewed on On the Record. Last night he was amplifying, to a fawning Greta Van Susteren, on his CPAC statement that “there's nothing on this green earth that a liberal progressive fears more than a black American who wants a better life and a smaller government!”

As part of our continuing look at Bill O'Reilly's attacks on Colorado's Democratic and openly gay Speaker of the House, Mark Ferrandino, News Hounds' Priscilla found a jarring snippet in yesterday's Denver Post. It quotes O'Reilly's first guest who went after discussed Ferrandino as saying that her accusation - that Ferrandino voted against "Jessica's Law," which would mandate sentencing for child molesters, because he cares more about the molesters than the victims - were words put in her mouth by Fox News producers.
Fox Nation Swoons Over Coulter’s Attack On Feinstein
Two-time voter-fraud suspect Ann Coulter went on the Hannity show last night to comment on Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s smackdown of Sen. Ted Cruz on gun regulation. Coulter surely knew why she was there and was prepared with one of her “witticisms,” almost certainly pre-planned and designed for maximum hate-monger and shock value: “I used to think women should not be able to vote and now I think liberal women should not be able to hold office.” Laughably, Coulter – who for years has been mocked as a transvestite or transgender – also said that she wasn’t talking only about women in the “biological sense.” So how did “civil” and “tolerant” Fox Nation react? By slobbering over Coulter and, as usual, ignoring her voting history.

Among its duties as media mouthpiece for conservative positions of the Catholic Church (war, capital punishment, immigration, social justice - not so much), Fox News is tasked with defending the pope against the onslaught of evil secularism such as the nasty librul media which Fox also has a sacred mission to bash at every opportunity. Because the reality based media has, accurately, reported on the Pope's conservative positions on birth control, gay marriage, and abortion - while also pointing out his support for that commie social justice thang - the non reality based Fox News is accusing the media of "attacking the pope". And who better to advance that meme than the anti-Semitic, homophobic, and pedophile priest defender, Bill Donohue who chatted with fellow (divorced and twice married neither time in the Catholic Church) Catholic Megyn Kelly who, regarding the new pope, just can't handle the truth. And as in any segment featuring the blustering Bill (who said the "nuns on the bus" are a scam"), there's a priceless nugget of insanity. In this case, Bill tells us that media bias against the pope is because the left loves kinky sex, Megan giggled. True Story.

On Tuesday’s Your World, President-elect of the Heritage Foundation Jim DeMint spoke about Democrats calling Rep. Paul Ryan’s budget “draconian” and “extreme.” DeMint said, “I don’t think the Democrats even have a right to criticize. The only budgets we’ve seen from this President have been budgets that nearly double our debt over the next 10 years. …I applaud Paul Ryan and the Republicans for stepping out, being willing to take the criticism, but like you said, Neil, balancing the budget over a 10 year period is hardly extreme, and if we don’t do it, all of us know we’re going to bankrupt our country.”
Read moreFox’s Crackpot Dr. Ablow Likens Obama To A Wife Beater
Fox’s in-house psychiatrist, Dr. Keith Ablow, once again showed why any sane network would be having him examined rather than putting him on the air as any kind of expert. First, he wrongly accused President Obama of wanting “to take everyone’s guns,” then Ablow likened him into a wife-beater “coming back” to Republicans and finally, after a brief detour of linking Obama’s abandonment issues to his belief in “disempowering the individual,” Ablow finished up with flurry of demands for Obama to resign.
Read moreOn Fox Nation: "Unleashed Beast" Bill O'Reilly Takes Down "Dishonest Editor"
Fox Nation is allegedly a place for those "who oppose intolerance." In keeping with Fox News' bogus "fair & balanced" bull, it also makes the same claim. Yet, it routinely traffics in editorialized, subjective headlines that, in many cases, have nothing to do with the linked article or the Fox video that is being promoted. Such is the case with Fox Nation's Lede Headline: "HOT VIDEO, O'Reilly Unleashes The Beast On Dishonest Editor." The video refers to O'Reilly's interview with Curtis Hubbard, editorial page editor of the Denver Post, who had the audacity to call out O'Reilly for what appears to be the shameless and baseless gay baiting of the Democratic CO House speaker who had the audacity to oppose, in conjunction with a variety of legal experts, Bill's pet project, "Jessica's Law." As noted in the Fox Nation text, Bill, in taking the "dishonest" Hubbard "to task, was an "unleashed beast." If, as rumor has it, Jesse Watters is in charge of Fox Nation, one can understand the giant sucking sound. And if not, it's still pure delusion.
Read moreO’Reilly Meltdown Of The Day: Denver Post Columnist Who Criticized His Attack On Gay Legislator
Another week, another Bill O’Reilly meltdown. And another rewriting of history of same. Tonight’s target: Curtis Hubbard, editorial page editor of the Denver Post, who called out O’Reilly’s “fact-challenged, bigoted” attack on Colorado’s openly gay Speaker of the House. Actually, O’Reilly already rewrote the history before the meltdown this time. But he rewrote it again as he also hurled insults such as “you’re a ridiculous person” with “a vile little column.” Unfortunately for O’Reilly, it didn’t seem to rattle Hubbard a bit. In fact, you’d have to say O’Reilly was the one who became unglued.

Bill O’Reilly got called out by the Denver Post for his “bigoted, fact-challenged” attack on Colorado’s openly gay and Democratic Speaker of the House of Representatives for suggesting that his sexuality had something to do with his opposition to a child molestation bill. And, just as he did after getting called out recently for his vicious attack on Alan Colmes, O’Reilly waffled and changed his story.
