Unfortunately for Bill O’Reilly, Kirsten Powers didn’t buy into his pretense last night that Alan Colmes had not provided any specific spending cuts President Obama has proposed. You may recall that was the basis for O’Reilly’s shocking outburst against Colmes the night before. Powers came armed with facts and figures that proved Colmes’ case and told O’Reilly, “You need to admit you’re wrong.”
O’Reilly continued his belligerence with Powers, albeit without name calling or shouting. But he was just as irrational. When she said that one of the spending cuts Obama proposed was to negotiate Medicare prices with drug companies, O’Reilly dismissed that with the ridiculous argument that no drug company had been named.
Powers shot back, “You need to admit you’re wrong. You are wrong about this and now you’re playing a game …Because we can’t name a drug company? I mean, come on!”
It was Powers at her best throughout the segment. She was nothing less than terrific. It’s why, even though I’ll never understand how she can get into bed with Fox’s agenda, my respect for her remains strong.
NOTE TO BILLY
We didn’t see you vent your anger during the News International hacking scandal. A murdered 13 year-old girl’s phone was tapped. You rather defend Ruthless Rupy and News International’s criminal activities than so-called looking out for the people. We and you know what goes on inside News Corporation, but you stay silent, you coward.
Keep it up Bill!
“Kirsten should have told Bildo what he really wanted to hear. Under President Obama’s budget, Bildo’s erectile dysfunction pills will be available in bulk quantities at wholesale prices.”
Dear truman: my gut feeling tells me that even if Kirsten Powers did that, it STILL would have been “too hard” for Bildo to understand!
;^)
“Billdo will faster lay eggs than drop his partisan, religious, intolerant hypocrisy.”
And in the end, the “yolk” will be all on HIM.

He was just fine with Rumsfelds specifics on the location of WMD’s in Iraq. “They’re somewhere in the North, South, East, or West of Baghdad.”
I hope his liberal guests demand specifics from him when he starts generalizing. I would enjoy watching them belittle him by asking about every little nuance of specifics regarding the subject of there discussion.
