Fox’s Dr. Keith Ablow: ObamaCare Will Lead To Riots

Posted by Ellen -7842.60pc on July 02, 2012 · Flag

Fox News’ crackpot psychiatrist, Dr. Keith Ablow, has come up with what host Megyn Kelly called a “very interesting” theory about how ObamaCare is not only psychologically destructive but will set off a domino effect leading to riots in the streets.

Kelly introduced the segment today on her show, America Live, by referring to Ablow as “America’s psychiatrist.” His diagnosis was, she explained, that health care reform is "a virus" in America “that could actually wind up making people sick, at least in their mindset.”

“Today it could be health care, tomorrow it could be a hybrid vehicle that you are penalized financially for not buying,” Ablow said, sounding a lot like a cold-war politician. Of course, there are already lots of financial incentives and penalties in laws – such as a mortgage deduction, speeding laws and in my state, an extra charge if you don’t file certain documents online. But Ablow insisted that ObamaCare “takes control of your behavior in the way that a parent would of a child” with terrible psychological effects:

It absolutely infantilizes Americans because listen, even adolescents or younger kids – they dream of the day when they’re in charge of their own money. Why? Because we know that money has that significance… To treat the American public as though they are pre-adolescent slingshots them back that way psychologically so that they say to themselves, ‘my decision-making capacity isn’t so good.’ …What it does is deposits us back as children, when economically more than ever we need to be adult.

What evidence is there that is is the case? Has Ablow studied the residents of Massachusetts, which enacted substantially the same law several years ago? Megyn Kelly seemed so taken with Ablow’s “interesting” ideas, she didn’t think to ask for anything like facts to back up his theory. Instead, she probed his thoughts on the “anger” that will supposedly arise from the law.

It turns out that health care infantilization is just the first step in a serious decline into psychosis. Or at least that’s what Ablow seemed to be predicting:

You think that Occupy Wall Street looked like a spectacle? Imagine tens of millions of adult children of Barack Obama deprived of their direction, of their monies, right? 99 weeks of unemployment, lots of food stamps, lots of bailouts… Guess what, when the piggy bank ain’t there, these are the people who’ll take to the streets with rocks. Trust me.

Trust you? I don’t think so.

When the Fox News right didn’t want Romney to be the nominee, they were spouting this same crap about him- including that Conservative websites routinely printed it cost Massachussetts 18,000-25,000 jobs and billions of dollars.

It’s really funny to watch them keep digging their hole deeper like this- especially given that if Romney wins, they’ll be making hypocrites of themselves a third time at every turn.

Being a Democrat and a Dodger fan I’ve accepted defeat as a part of life. While I hate losing, these people are really sore losers.

The Doctor seems to be planting the seed into people’s head to incite a riot, but just like a war cheerleader who is not in the combat zone, as long as their not the ones at risk to harm or jail, then they’re cool with others doing the dirty work.

He is getting dangerously close to yelling fire in a crowded theather.

On his next house call to Fux Noise, “Dr” Allblowme will explain to the teabaggers how Chief Justice Roberts’ previously undiagnosed character-behavior disorder led to his insane approval of Affordable Health Care.

“Imagine tens of millions of adult children of Barack Obama . . . "

That’s gonna be a little difficult — considering he only has two {and they’re both school-aged} . . .

Man, these rightwingnuts have got to get their story straight, when it comes to the response to SCOTUS’ decision.

First, they were overjoyed {when initial reports said ACA was overturned} . . . then, they “asked” if it was now time for armed resistance {when they found out it was upheld} . . . then, it was “a victory for Romney” {and Obama was “a stupid liar”} . . . now, Ablowme’s saying ACA “will lead to riots” — why? Because it’s a victory for Romney??

The spin is making me dizzy . . .

Where do they get this stuff?
Is there some sort of ‘craziest shit said on TV’ contest going on?
This nutjob cannot possibly believe what he says 75% of the time; it has to be intended as just another insane claim to keep the ‘stoopit’ in a tizzy.
