I personally toured the Canadian Artic in November at the start of the polar bear migration. As any objective observor will tell you, the polar bear ice habitat has steadily decreased in the last ten years due to global warming. The hunting ban has helped slow the population decrease. But it won’t stop the extinction of this magnificent species if global warming melts the polar ice.
