Bill O’Reilly has finally found the answer to President Obama’s mammoth base of welfare queens: Ted Nugent. Seriously.
In his Talking Points segment tonight, O’Reilly discussed how President Obama is trying to “checkmate” the Republican Party – with the tacit acknowledgment that the tactic is working. O’Reilly is disturbed, you see, because it’s all “about politics, not about problem solving.” How does he know? Because O’Reilly has already come up with a plan to reduce gun violence and if Democrats wanted solutions, they’d adopt it. Seriously.
But let not your hearts be troubled, O’Reilly viewers (to borrow a phrase from Sean Hannity). O’Reilly said, “Last night, it was interesting to hear conservative rock guy Ted Nugent really level a CNN commentator.” He played a clip of Nugent going on a rant about guns and telling Piers Morgan, “Go after the nut jobs! Go after the murderers! Because I don’t know any!”
This from the guy who called then-candidate Barack Obama “a piece of shit” who should “suck on my machine gun” and Hillary Clinton, a “worthless bitch” who should “ride into the sunset” on his machine gun.
But to O’Reilly, The Nuge is a good guy. “Now that kind of straight talk is what the Republican Party needs!” O'Reilly enthused. He added that Republicans should “lay out” their vision but should also “aggressively counter-attack liberal politics that are devoid of solutions.”
Yeah, and who better to lay out a vision for Republicans than draft-dodging, rootin'-tootin’ Nugent?
Agree with you 100% Joe W. The Dixie Chicks were un-American traitors who had CD’s run over by steamrollers, banned from country music radio and vilified constantly by Faux and their “pundits” for one statement about W. But Uncle Ted’s comment about Hilary “worthless bitch” Clinton is just the straight talk that the Repubs need.
2014 can’t come fast enough.
And, while no one with half a functioning brain cell would deny that FoxNoise is nothing more than the propaganda arm of the GOP, it’s interesting that Bill “I’m an independent” O’Reilly would make such a slip and be such a GOP cheerleader. Just imagine how Bill would react if someone at CNN or MSNBC had commented that some (washed-up) rock star’s left-wing ranting was just “what the Democratic Party needs.” Why, we might get the opportunity to watch Bill re-enact a scene from “Scanners.” (For those who don’t get that comment, Google it or look on YouTube.)
Exactly, BillO!!
More of Ted Nougat saying he’ll either be dead or in jail if President Obama wins reelection is JUST what the republican party needs — to complete its transformation into the Whigs . . .
