In the Bush ‘mandate’ of 2004, in the Electoral College, Bush received 286 votes, and Kerry 251.
And Fox is NOW saying that President Obama needs to make concessions to get along with the 50% that voted against him?

Well, I did my call-room duties, responded to almost every Michelle Obama email with a donation, and generally tried to be calm and reasonable during this overlong and anxious process. I have to admit, I still feel that I didn’t do enough.
It’s going to be a looooooong day, but I’m starting to feel that Obama will prevail, and that is most important to the entire country. How ANYONE could support a party that literally stands for lies and deception really escapes me. I must still be too much of an idealist to comprehend the Republican/TeaBagger mind(?).
I have to thank all the Newshounds for helping me maintain what little grasp on sanity I have left!
