Fox News Mailbag: Presidential Election Edition

Posted by Ellen -7859.80pc on November 06, 2012 · Flag

For some reason, we've received an abundance of email meant for Fox News these last few weeks. It always amuses me how many people mistake us for Fox News and what they have to say when they (think they) write to Fox. So here, for your election-night reading pleasure is a batch of emails that wound up in our inbox instead of theirs.

Actually, we've received so many, I'll have to break them into several posts. As usual, names and other identifying information has been withheld to protect the ignorant.

Here's Part One:

Received today, Subject: dress code:martha maccallum

Today of all days we go to vote because we want to see hope and change and morals in our government. While am watching Fox News for all the election information, I see Marha MacCallum with a blouse best suited for after 9pm not 9am on national TV reporting the news. News anchors of all people are held to a higher standard. It is disturbing to see such decline of professionalism in people we put so much trust in. Very sad.

Received 11/4/2012 (no subject)

This may be of interest. Sunday 6/27/2004 the Kenyon Standard Times reported that then Senator Obama was Kenyon born. He also admitted to this in a debate with Keyes during his run for senator. This may be of some interest. I thought I might bring it to your attention.
Thanks

Received 11/4/2012, Subject: Articles: Why Obama Chose to Let Them Die in Benghazi

Based on your knowledge of the facts is the info in the attached report completely or partially accurate?   If so then why isn't it being pursued in the public forum and why isn't Romney  and the Republican base making a bigger issue of it?   It would be a disgrace to this country, the military and, more importantly, the four patriots who lost their lives to re-elect this guy!

Thanks for  your "fair and balanced reporting".   I am a dedicated viewer of your national and local (Fox Boston) news.

Received 11/2/2012, Subject: Information for Greta

I found this blurb on the MEMRI  Website, it apparently is a global terrorist warning site - but all I could access was the burb as I did not want to pay the $360 fee to subscribe - Plus, truthfully websites devoted to terrorism scare me - I don't know much about them and certainly don't want to get on any list - BUT what I read I have not yet seen on any other website either here or in Europe or UK -
Amid Fears Of Al-Qaeda Cells In Egypt, Video Emerges Of Abu Ahmad, Alleged Egyptian Coordinator Of Benghazi Consulate AttackOctober 29, 2012 (original contained a hypertext link)
Received 10/26/2012 Subject: Neil Steinber
In his October 26 cover story in the Chicago Sun-Times, Neil Steinberg refers to Mitt Romney as  "well-known as a chronic liar". I feel this accusation is outrageous and he should be called to account for it by the conservative media. Maybe Mr. Steinberg would like to be known as a chronic alcohol and spouse abuser.
Received 10/22/2012 Subject: Phony in Chief
I'm wondering if anyone at Fox News, the RNC, or the Romney campaign ever bother to read anything.  Thomas Sowell's recent article on Townhall exposing Obama as "Phony In Chief," the title of Sowell's article, has yet to be picked up or mentioned by ANYONE in either of these three camps.  It exposes who Barack Obama truly is better than anything I have read yet.  Romney or the RNC should already be running ads.  I e-mailed Hannity and O'reilly several days ago and neither of them have mentioned it!  I believe it is the most important issue to date that could hurt Obama come election day.  As big at least as the Libya issue as far as influencing undecided voters.  It could even change the minds of some who have already decided to vote for Obama!
Received 10/21/2012 Subject: The FIve - Language
The language on "the Five" has deteriorated and God's name is being routinely used by Eric while Bob is
out of control...they should be more careful in their use of words that may be offensive...

There is no ‘Standard Times’ newspaper in Kenya.

I like how Fox’s loyal reader links them all together like peas in a pod.

Seems like Eric and Bob are spending too much time staring at Martha’s fucking tits.

So — President Obama WASN’T born in Hawaii . . . he was born in Kenyon, Minnesota:

I KNEW it!
