The good guys won this one.

Managed to stay awake so that I could hear Obama’s speech – it was worth it. I was here at NHs 4 years ago the first time Obama got elected and I enjoyed reading all your comments this time around too.

In the end, all of the FOX “news” propaganda, Karl Rove, the Koch Bros, the Citizens United decision, etc. could not buy White House. Congrats to Obama/Biden, their campaign team, all the tireless volunteers – and congrats to America! Let’s move forward and make this country and its policies work for everyone! Goodnight all.

Btw, 20 or so minutes ago, it was announced that Allen West lost. :-]

Mitt ended his concession speech by looking out to the crowd and thanking “you guys”. No ladies?

Obama just hit 303 in electoral college. Wow, how could soooo many of the FOX “news” talking heads and analysts be soooo wrong? Considering that they spent numerous hours of air time talking about how all the other political pundits and polls were completely wrong with their assessments that Obama was going to win this, it’s beyond hysterical that the FOXies are (or should be) eating crow and maybe even doing some apologizing to those they have bad-mouthed (since they were the ones who turned out to be correct in their analysis).

I bet that Daddy “in the tank for Romney” Douchey probably does not want to come into work in the morning. LOL!

Despite the facts, “conservatives” remain deluded:

Mr. Romney won a majority of voters 65 or older, while Mr. Obama was backed by 6 in 10 Americans under 30, and won a narrow majority of those under 44.

Even as they absorbed Mr. Romney’s defeat, the party’s top elected officials, strategists and activists said they believed that Republicans had offered a persuasive message of economic opportunism and fiscal restraint. While the messenger may have been flawed, they argued, Republicans should not stray from that approach in a moment of panic.

“The party has to continually ask ourselves, what do we represent?” said Senator Marco Rubio, the Florida Republican seen as a top White House contender in 2016. “But we have to remain the movement on behalf of upward mobility, the party people identify with their hopes and dreams. People want to have a chance.”

No horse poop on White House lawn for Ann.

I found mAnn’s tweet

“The good news is the promise of continued massive unemployment among young people.”

FOX says that Romney called to concede to Obama. Finally.

True, Kent – and I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that it played a part in why some folks just couldn’t vote for him – he and his family simply cannot relate to the type of reality that most Americans have to deal with.

LOL, mj…

That’s a life long problem for the rMoneys.

Word is that Romney has yet to call and concede to Obama. Remember this? Ann Romney: “it’s Mitt’s time…it’s our turn now.”

No, Ann, it isn’t. Looks like the Romney team is having some issues with the reality of it all.

Saw a Trump tweet in which he said that “this election is a total sham and travesty.” No, Donald, you and your wacky birtherism is the sham and travesty. Now go away. I can only hope that his weekly stint on F&F finally comes to an end.

Me too, Carol – I totally understand where you are coming from.

Obama got CO now too.

As per Rachel, one of FOX’s on-air talents is holding out for FOX to back down on their call of Ohio for Obama – a “talent” that just happens to have spent tons of money (and his reputation) to elect his man, Mitt.

And about Matthews’ “talent” comment – LOL!

Btw, Obama just got Nevada too.

I grew up in a very conservative rural area. Most of my fb friends are from high school and they are all super right wing.
I expected lots of growling on fb about this loss. Crickets on my newsfeed. Scary. I think they may refuse to acknowledge the results.

Go ahead, Karl, keep crunching your numbers on your little white board. Keep telling yourself that all those millions and millions your PAC spent on Mittens must pay off somehow…

Brit Hume just cannot seem to believe that more Dems voted when compared to the Repubs. He basically says FOX and its favorite pundits were wrong about what the Dem turnout would be.
d d commented 2012-11-06 23:19:34 -0500 · Flag
FOXies are pretty bummed. How sweet it is! So much for all the FOX talk about the polls being falsely skewed in Obama’s favorite. Suck on it, FOX – Nate Silver killed it over your pollsters.
