Rivera To Bolling: You’re A Politician Misleading Americans About Benghazi

Posted by Ellen -7859.80pc on November 03, 2012 · Flag

Geraldo Rivera returned to Fox & Friends today where there was once again a heated argument about Fox’s politicization of the Benghazi tragedy. This time, Rivera let Eric Bolling have it when he said the White House, the CIA and the State Department “does nothing, sends no help.”

Rivera started by saying he didn’t want to have an argument. But, he continued, “I just have to say for us to be probing this three or four days before the election guarantees that reasonable prudence will not be exercised.” He also said he is “convinced” that “the military did whatever it could have done under the circumstances” as did the CIA and the State Department “once the attack happened.” He added, “That’s where I really, really am extremely upset about the tone of the conversation.”

But when Bolling interrupted to start attacking the administration, Rivera said, “You are a politician looking to make a political point… You are misleading the American people because you want to make a political point.”

Rivera also suggested that I was correct when I accused Fox of exploiting Charles Woods, the father of one of the slain SEALs.

When I heard Charles Woods call the President of the United States a murderer and a liar, it broke my heart… I love Charles Woods. I kissed him on television. But he is being led down the primrose path by misinformation that is making it look as if the President of the United States went gambling in Las Vegas when he could have been saving our people in Benghazi and that’s a lie!

Imagine that! One of the hosts of a network that bills itself as “fair and balanced” accused another host of working as a political operative. Not as an opinion host (Fox's favorite dodge) but as a political operative.

Cudos to Geraldo for calling Bolling a liar to his face. It’s amazing that Geraldo hasn’t noticed the lying tactics of Fox before? It’s creepy to watch the group therapy/propaganda aimed at GerLdo at the very end of segment.

More like fear of losing a very fat check for doing exactly what the boss wants: no thinking, no analysis, only repeat what’s written in the morning memo.

Bolling is as retarded as Brain Kilmeade.

I think we should all take a collection to get enough money to buy Bolling a tie. Just ‘cause he’s stoopit, doesn’t mean he has to look stoopit.

Exactly- But both pumping up the standing water and restoring power are running into complications, including Bloomberg’s screwed up priorities (a marathon? REALLY?!), and Fox News is having a blast saying that proves Obama failed Hurricane Sandy victims.

If Obama failed for complications, what’d Bush do for not showing up until his lack of concern had made him a global embarassment? What do you call it that him and Romney were more concerned about posing than actually helping anyone?

Same with Benghazi- The select parts of the 9/11 conspiracy that come with a strong case, and/or evidence? we were traitors for questioning that. Yet, we’re also traitors for not asking the same questions about things literally everyone in a position to know, from both sides of the aisle told us Fox News is lying about. Hell, their own hosts and contributors grew a conscience to say “we’re lying- we’re fucking lying!”…

Yet, they don’t even pretend they want to stop. We’ve gotten the equivalent of “so what?!” from four of their shows now. The hypocrisy isn’t just rampant, it reeks of severe mental illness.

Fox News’ only two stories: Obama’s somehow covering up Benghazi, and he somehow failed Hurricane Sandy victims because pumping and restoring power are both taking longer than projected.

Both are cases where they’d be very wise to shut up, seeing how Bush handled them, and that Romney saw them both as photo ops.

Well, now you done it, Jerry.

Not only did you call out a fellow Fox host, you strayed from the Fox Prime Directive of assigning blame to President Obama in order to derail his (certain) reelection.

You can definitely expect censure/suspension from appearing on Fox programming until after the election, now . . .
