It's hard to think of anyone more deserving to win our Fox News Outrageous Quote of the Week poll than Ben Shapiro. His accusation that the Obama administration is "borderline a Jew-hating administration” was so offensive that even host Megyn Kelly challenged him. 

Fox News “strategic analyst” Lt. Col. Ralph Peters delivered another jaw-dropping rant of hate against President Obama last night. On the Hannity show, Peters claimed Obama “just doesn’t like America very much” is “not grateful” to it, “despises” the military and  “distrusts” the population. But Peters’ extreme animosity toward our president – which presumably includes the majority of Americans who elected him twice – reveals that the one who really hates America is Peters. Yet he is on Fox News so often these days, I half expect him to be co-hosting with Megyn Kelly or Sean Hannity one night soon. 

Conservatives’ efforts to cloak their animosity and heartlessness toward the immigrant children arriving at our borders were demolished by Stephen Colbert Thursday night. Most of the laughs were at the expense of Fox News talking heads, especially Laura Ingraham. So funny and so well deserved!

In solidifying her street creds with those who are waging a war on women's ladyparts, Megyn Kelly has been unwavering in her support for the Hobby Lobby decision and denunciation of those who oppose it. As part of her strident defense of the court's ruling, she has taken her talking points straight out of the radical "personhood" anti-choice playbook in her argument that certain types of ACA covered contraceptives cause abortions. This, scientifically speaking, is a lie but one that has been pushed by the "fair & balanced" Fox News and it's "truth detector" Megyn Kelly. But while Fox has revered the court decision, it was "viciously mocked" by Jon Stewart. Validating right wing outrage, Kelly hit back in a bravura performance this week. During an almost hysterical monologue on "fertilized eggs" she went beyond her usual level of snark and petulance in attempting to prove that Stewart was wrong because - wait for it - science! 

Greg Gutfeld seems never to have spent a day in his life either in the military or involved in military affairs. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t know better than our Commander-in-Chief that it’s time to put our troops in harm's way in Ukraine. Why? To retrieve the black box on behalf of the one (dual) American citizen who was killed in the crash.

Fox News contributor Allen West has posted incendiary, America-hating comments in response to the horror of Malaysian jetliner, MH17, shot down over Ukraine. Rather than focus on who actually did it and why, West honed in on partisanship and politics by using the tragedy to exploit his extreme animosity toward our president. Sadly, I'll bet that West will be on Fox news offering his "take" on the subject within 24 hours. Assuming he has not already done so. 

If you thought it was sickly comical how Fox News talking heads made the MH17 crash all about Obama’s reaction (and Benghazi) last night, check out how they’ve started blaming him for the Malaysian Airlines tragedy over Ukraine today.

Megyn Kelly continued her efforts to make the shooting down of MH17 all about President Obama when she interviewed Rep. Peter King (R-NY) last night. What a coincidence that this shooting down of a Malaysian Airlines plane in Ukraine should also make King think of Benghazi!

Megyn Kelly opened The Kelly File tonight with about one minute giving the facts of the shoot-down of Malaysia Flight MH17 and then nearly nine minutes of attacking President Obama over it. Most of the criticism was centered on his decision not to cancel a speech and two fundraisers. But she and her guests managed to work in criticism over the border crisis, Fort Hood and – yup, Benghazi. She even suggested that Obama should be more like George W. Bush.

Todd Starnes showed a shocking lack of taste (even for him) when he reacted to the shooting down of a Malaysian airliner with snarky attacks on President Obama. Kudos to Fox's Greta Van Susteren for calling him out on it.
