Piers Morgan Describes Bill O'Reilly: 'What A Dick!'
This morning, Piers Morgan explained on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show why he describes Bill O’Reilly as “a dick.” Hint: It has to do with O’Reilly arrogantly snubbing Morgan and later asking for a photo on behalf of his (O’Reilly’s) daughter.

Bill O'Reilly once advised the folks to ignore their "enemies." But Bill's inability to follow his own advice or, dare we say, hypocrisy, was shown by last night's O'Reilly screed in which he savaged those who do not believe that the divinely inspired "Killing Jesus" is the most awesome book evah. The devoutly Catholic O'Reilly framed his discussion around how the evil, librul media and "the left" despise religion - a popular victim card played by those who claim that it's the poor who play the victim. But the discussion was really all about poor Bill as it soon morphed into O'Reilly's patented baseless attacks on those who, I guess, are Bill's "enemies" because they dare to deride his faith (of which he is such a stellar example). Howard Kurtz tried to add some reason to the discussion; but as is true in life writ large, those who are "faith based" can be quite unreasonable!

In case you’re wondering how Fox News plans to spin the pending deal to end the government shutdown, we got a good glimpse earlier today on America’s News HQ. Not surprisingly, it casts the Republican-caused shutdown as a plus for the economy and blamed President Obama for lacking leadership on the budget (read: enact Republican spending cuts).

Sometimes a Fox News headline tells you all you need to know about its bias:
Read moreKrauthammer Smacks Down O'Reilly On Why Redskins Should Change Their Name
Clearly, we can count Bill O'Reilly in the "Native Americans are being too sensitive about the 'Redskins' name" club at Fox News. Last night, he seemed to think he'd find a kindred spirit in guest Charles Krauthammer. But no. In an extended - and very enjoyable - smackdown, Krauthammer nailed it repeatedly. Best line: "If I were to ask you how many Indian Americans or Native Americans are in the Congress, you would not say, 'There are two redskins.'"
Read moreThe Government Shutdown Is Still A 'Slimdown' To Fox News
Apparently, there's some (probably ambitious) web producer or producers at FoxNews.com who just won't stop calling the government shutdown a "slimdown." Even though Fox News' own Howard Kurtz called the term a "mistake" and mocked it for trying to make the shutdown seem like “some kind of sensible Weight Watchers" diet plan for government spending. And then, after Stephen Colbert had some fun with it at Fox News' expense, the term seemed to disappear. But it's back!

Megyn Kelly was a vision of patriotic support for the Million Veteran March demonstration held last weekend – and a scold for that biased media (by which she meant everyone but Fox News) that focused on the extremist elements that Kelly insisted were not representative of the crowd. But Kelly's choice of guests, anti-immigrant extremist Dennis Michael Lynch - there to provide the supposedly unvarnished truth - was no assurance at all.

The nice Fox & Friends Christians love Jesus who, as everybody knows, hates fags. Joining Jesus in some old time homo hating are various "family values" groups who have been designated, by the Southern Poverty Law Center, as hate groups because of their homophobia. But that's not a problem for Fox News which has warmly embraced the head of the hate group, The Family Research Council, Tony Perkins. Perkins has appeared, several times, on Fox & Friends, where he once claimed that his group doesn't hate gays and that his group is just trying to preserve the family. Fox & Friends is now defending another homophobic hate group, the American Family Association which has close ties to Fox's Mike Huckabee and Fox contributor/writer and male leather thong aficionado Todd Starnes. On this morning's Fox & Friends, Toddles whined about how the evil Obama administration is telling good Christian soldiers that the virulently homophobic and anti-Islamic hate group, The American Family Association, is a hate group - which it is - but not in the Fox & Friends apocalyptic world of persecuted Christians where the AFA is a "respected Christian ministry." True story.

Fox News’ White House correspondent Ed Henry walked out of a White House press briefing Friday after a public snubbing from White House Press Secretary Jay Carney. Yesterday, Henry insisted he wasn’t walking out in protest, he just had work to do. But he would have stayed if he had been called on.
Read moreDaily Show Eviscerates Dennis Michael Lynch's Anti-Immigration Paranoia!
Dennis Michael Lynch is an "entrepreneur" and "filmmaker" whose xenophobic films earn him warm validation whenever he appears on Fox News. To say that Lynch's films are "documentaries" is a bit of a stretch given that they are really an extension of Lynch's paranoid belief that this country is being "invaded" by imaginary hordes of murderous "illegal aliens" some of whom are murderous Al Qaeda. Lynch knows this because - wait for it - he has seen discarded prayer rugs and Korans in the desert. Last week, the Daily Show's Aasif Manvi did a brilliant take down of Lynch who, once again, demonstrated his tenuous hold on reality. What is really pathetic is that his outlandish claims ("illegals" increase your daughter's chance of being raped) and his disdain for real data are taken seriously on Fox News - which, despite its claim of being "real news," is another type of comedy show! Enjoy.
