Apparently, there's some (probably ambitious) web producer or producers at FoxNews.com who just won't stop calling the government shutdown a "slimdown." Even though Fox News' own Howard Kurtz called the term a "mistake" and mocked it for trying to make the shutdown seem like “some kind of sensible Weight Watchers" diet plan for government spending. And then, after Stephen Colbert had some fun with it at Fox News' expense, the term seemed to disappear. But it's back!
In the video below, from yesterday's Special Report, the word "slimdown" is not used - except in the title chosen by FoxNews.com.

800,000 jobs, and hundreds of cancer patients denied their medicaid sponsored Chemo. If the house was ran by the Dems, this would be a full shutdown, the first step of the NWO, whatever else, and you bet your ass that they would be pointing out that shutdowns are a power of the house.
But it’s the GOP’s fault, so blame everyone else, downplay it just in case, screw the workers, and they hope the cancer patients die.

Considering the term Fair & Balanced the marketing department came up with 17 years ago has sold so well instead of the truth of them being right wing propagandists I guess they figured, why not? The fools will probably fall for it, and I’m sure some have.

If it weren't so tragic, it would be funny.
