Its hard to reach a new low in cable news these days, but I think Carlson pulled it off with the richly juvenile banner. And I did hear Carlson call him “Creepy Porn Lawyer” at the end anyway. But I don’t think anyone watches Carlson or any of the other evening Fox-Trash-tainers in order to hear news or news-like entertainment. It’s all about crafting the perfect insult on Fox, so I’m sure the audience was sated with their need for pseudo-righteous indignation. I watched a lot of Fox News on Sunday morning. I was surprised to see a few segments, sprinkled around the shows, critical of Trump at the Helsinki press conference. But then I flipped to MSNBC where they explained that the rain had stopped at Mar-a-lago, so Trump was probably golfing during the bad coverage.
Still they must have gotten some hate-mail over that.
