Fox News viewers are certainly known to enjoy tittilating coverage: any story with a cheerleader, the short skirts of ALL the women, and any sex scandal involving a Dem. So why are they withholding the juicy details of Stormy and Trump? I mean, the viewers don’t give a hoot what laws or norms Trump tramples. They probably are secretly cheering this behavior. Even the evangelicals have forgiven him. So there is no need to pretend that Trump isn’t a horny old goat. So why is Fox withholding the dirt on this story? I would think their viewers would eat it up. I wonder when the viewers will figure out that they are not getting any of the real juice on this story and start tuning in CNN?

There are a few things these shooters have in common and its not just mental illness. These are: generally youthful, male, socially isolated, and with easy access to weapons of mass assassination. It is an equation that is seen over and over again.
If we could actually talk about these things without causing fainting spells in the 2nd Amendment crowd, we might find solutions. I tell the gun lovers I know that if they want to preserve their gun rights they better help solve this problem. Just ignoring it isn’t going to work anymore.

Lately I keep thinking about a miniseries from the 70s in which the US becomes so divided that the sitting US President invites the Soviet military to enter the country (not sure why). This leads to a complete takeover of the country by the USSR. It was called ‘Amerika’.
