The only ones who politicized this case were Fox News. Since I get my news from other sources, I actually learned something about this case beyond the illegal immigrant angle: it seems the jury believed that Garcia Zarate found the gun wrapped in a towel and dropped it, causing the gun to fire and the bullet to richochet off something before hitting Steinle. Not exactly the brutal intentional murder Fox News has painted for their viewers to hate on. It’s quite absurd that they cling to this false narrative, but then they are free to lie all day, every day according our nations laws.

Oh, I see. Using the name of Pocahontas is either a slur no matter what the context, or it is not a slur ever, even if it is used as an insult. Huckabee wants us to believe that the word itself is somehow at issue, not how it is used. This was my kids’ understanding of racism — when they were about 6-10 years old, then their brains matured. I worry that right wing brains, having been stimulated constantly in a seething bath of anger and resentment, can no longer reason their way out of a paper bag.

Kelly should be ashamed. The Civil War was not OK in 1860, and neither was slavery. That’s why we had a war about it in 1860, because these things were not OK. This is stupidly faulty reasoning. Do we have statues of those who fought for the Brits in the Revolutionary War because they were good people fighting for their king and empire?

When I see an interview like this I get this Twilight Zone-esque feeling that I’m watching some future dystopian tale like ‘V for Vendetta’, but it’s happening in the present and it’s happening to us!

I was very surprised to see Hannity cover this story. Prior to this he spent a great deal of time on his favorite blast-from-the past story—‘Uranium One.’ I honestly thought he would try to ‘protect’ his people from having to hear of this. But he actually played clips of Flake and Corker calling out Trump as the dangerous knucklehead that he is. I guess Hannity was just too angry with them to stay quiet. It was quite a rant.

I hope the next Senator who takes a stand will actually call for opposition to Trump and Bannon taking over their party (or better yet start a moderate party) instead of just packing it in and walking way from this mess.

What’re they going to call this new party that Fox and Trump have created? If it’s not the Republican party then they need a name. Maybe then the Repub’s can jettison their craziest ideas and become a responsible part of the government again.

Have the families of shooting victims ever, ever complained that people should not discuss strategies for trying to prevent another mass shooting immediately after a shooting? No, of course not.

Screaming politicization while people are trying to find solutions is, frankly, politicization. I wonder if the NRA pays Hannity for his service to their cause.

Some lawyer at Fox must have heard that segment and decided if CNN could credibly be accused of creating a violent atmosphere, then Fox could as well. Hence the disclaimer.

So part of that lunatic’s argument (sensationalizing mass carnage) is an interesting topic and the other part (gun owners are turned violent by CNN) is batsh*t crazy.

Pastor Jeffress should thank God that he doesn’t live in North Korea either, where many Christians find themselves in prison camps and Christians are quite the minority. (WTF any of this has to do with N Korea, I don’t know.)

Of the 2 companies I manage the health insurance for one has an Obamacare plan and their rates have gone up a lot this year. But they get a lot of freebies, 2 free dr visits, free preventive screenings, free ‘preventive’ birth control. The other company has managed to stay with a pre-Obamacare plan. Their rates went down, but it is such a bare bones plan that no one ever gets anything out of it unless they have a major surgery. I had my choice of the two plans and I stay with the Obamacare one. It costs more, but it is better for my health.

This argument is really hard to follow.
Apparently God created nations and borders because God cares about things like that. But after creating these nations and borders God pretty much left things up to the individual governments to decide everything else.

Also God wants people to be compassionate toward others, but that goal takes a backseat to a government’s need to protect it citizens from undocumented persons. God has some weird priorities.

Why would Fox take time away from all the news that is happening right now to criticize a beauty pageant contestant? Is this the Fox Business Network or Fox E Network?

Fox needs a red-meat-enemy for their viewers to tune in for, and they do prefer a female villain, but the Hillary email story is just so stale. I’m sure they are hoping that Nancy Pelosi becomes the Speaker of the House in a couple of years.
