I think Patrick owes it to the people of Texas to visit a hospital or nursing home in one of the hardest hit cities. He needs to spend some time with the workers and patients, and see what he wants the rest of us to risk for his bank account — I mean children and grandchildren.

I can just see our soldiers trying to engage in war when their uniform shipments haven’t arrived from Indonesia yet; their boots are stuck in port in India; and their Vietnamese drones are mistakenly put on a ship to Ukraine.

Ok, so I don’t know where all those things are made, but this crisis has shown that this country’s basic needs can’t be met by our own hands anymore. A war right now would be devastating in many, many ways. I don’t think its crazy to say that Fox News apparently wants to kill us all with insanely bad advice!

After 9/11 Congress couldn’t throw enough resources at the problem of terrorist attacks. Civil liberties were tossed to the wind in order to limit any future attacks. Contrast that with the right wing’s very casual attitude toward saving lives threatened by the corona virus. They would much prefer to save the economy than citizens endangered by the virus. Watch them change their tune when one of their family members is stricken.

Just disgusting. Of course Trump can’t order any person or company to return to work. What next? will they come up with a lottery system in which people are forced to return to work before its safe? Then we really will have those death panels Republicans used to speak so breathlessly about in the Obama era.

Just a few days ago my Fox watching relative told me she heard on Fox that the coronavirus was a conspiracy to ruin our economy. That the virus was created by China and Russia for economic reasons because “They don’t care if their citizens live or die.”

Its so ironic. I’ll have to ask her now which country she thinks really puts the economy above its citizen’s lives.

This is the ultimate disaster when we elect leaders who believe that government can’t do anything right-Its a self fulfilling belief and apparently they believe they are absolved from even trying.

Do they get news or information inside the right wing bubble? This attitude of “F*** the Virus, I’m a right wing Captain America and I’ll do what I f***ing want to do,” continues to hang on despite pretty general knowledge that this virus is going to get worse and people will die from an overwhelmed healthcare system unless we act now. Republicans seem destined to be the year’s top Darwin awards winners. Its unfortunate they make take innocents with them.

After watching Trump’s performance last night from the Oval, I had to wonder if he had maybe come down with a little COVID-19. He was not speaking well last night, he seemed really off, and it has been reported that he has been exposed to someone with the virus. But I guess that would be no big deal for our elderly president to be sick since its just like having the flu.

This gives me a weird sensation that I’m actually watching a B movie with some serious overacting, or perhaps a porno attempting to have a plot. I was waiting to see if she was going to start crying at the end.

So Fox is misleading their viewers who could potentially engage in risky behavior because of the virus is being minimized. I can picture viewers saying to each other: "Well if Fox thinks its overblown, then I guess we should: go on that trip; take that cruise; attend that rally. WTF? Who will be left to vote for Dear Leader in the fall, if Fox kills off its own?

I think that Trump picked Pence to head up the coronavirus response because he wanted to have someone to toss under the bus if things go really bad for the US with this virus—in order to take the blame it would have to be someone very high up. Trump is trying to insulate himself, and possibly get himself an new VP in the process.

The idea that bias is a bad thing in jurors and judges has really gained traction among the simpletons at Fox. Perhaps because these emotional barbarians could never put aside their own biases, they assume that no one can. ‘Judge’ Jeanine certainly knows better than this.

So do we insist that these arguments are just stupid distractions, or do we start pointing out the pro-Trump bias of any jury or judge who rules in favor of Trump and his buddies?

Sadly, it was not the DOJ who failed to go after McCabe. The DOJ DID try to scrounge up a case against McCabe. For over a year, and two separate grand juries, they presented their ‘case’ and the grand jury declined every time, and the judge hammered them to bring evidence or close the investigation. It doesn’t seem that the DOJ failed for lack of trying.

So is the sentence for Stone too long or is it that the guy isn’t guilty? This guy can’t get his story straight.
First the sentence for Stone is too long! Then. The jury was crooked (and he shouldn’t have been found guilty, I guess).

Interesting that no one on Fox seems to feel that if the sentencing guidelines are way too strict for Stone’s crimes, then they are probably too strict for the next schmuck who engages in: obstruction, making false statements, and witness tampering. You know, the next schmuck who isn’t great pals with the president and his friends in the media. They’d rather smear jurors, judges and prosecutors and putting innocent lives in danger, than even admit that Stone is actually guilty, that his friendship with Trump was not a factor in his guilt, and the jury just did its job, like any other jury.

Don’t doctors have to take a class in logic and reasoning? Is she seriously saying that people who have medical insurance have no incentive to be healthy? Or maybe she just means ‘some’ people.

Its bizarre that the situation she describes might lead some to think we need more doctors (hello AMA!), but no, this nut thinks we need fewer patients!

What an embarrassment to the airwaves this woman is. Do people in other countries see this sh*t?

Pelosi ripped up a terrible, lie-filled campaign speech masquerading as a message to all of America. Trump and his Republican enablers have shredded our Constitution and dragged a country which should be the leader of the free world down to the level of Banana Republic in 3 short years. So, yeah, Fox can wallow in their hurt feelings and wet themselves with crocodile tears. The bully can never take even the smallest bit of payback. We need more of Pelosi’s style of fighting back.

Hmm, I don’t know, it sure sounds like Carlson is attacking Romney for his FAITH!!! Didn’t that used to be a bad thing?

Romney claims that his faith requires that an oath to God be examined by his conscience. While the rest of the Repub’s have suddenly become rather squishy on a lot of heretofore accepted Republican/Christian ideas.
It’s hard to keep up with all of the ways a Republican can sell their soul to the devil of late.

At this point Fox News could tell their viewers that since Trump took office every Republican’s shit has started smelling like a delightful combination of roses, baked bread, freedom and no taxes. And Fox viewers would say: “Yes! Thank God for Trump.”
