Maybe these “ladies” might want to address the incarceration rate for inner-city males before attacking feminism for making “males an expendable option when deciding to have a child.”
They might also consider how difficult ABORTION is for most of these women. Between “waiting periods” and forced ultrasounds (so they can “see the baby”) and reductions of numbers of clinics—among other interference by “forced birthers” (who then don’t want anything to do with the “bundle of joy”)—women in the inner-city tend to have fewer (if any) options to NOT go through with that pregnancy. (There’s also a little touch of irony in women becoming single mothers who end up depending on government assistance, rather than marrying their baby’s daddy, when so many state governments are curtailing abortion rights and the Federal government is prohibited from using Medicare funds for abortion services.)

Perhaps “Todd” would like to explain how much better life has been for African-Americans living in the “inner city” of Detroit—which has been under DIRECT GOP control for the past three years.
There were stories about city services being cut completely (such as silly things like street lights) and people were having their power cut off without any notice.
Yeah. I’m sure the African-Americans living in Detroit just love their “local” GOP overlords. (Remember—the City does have a mayor and city council but they have virtually ZERO say in anything.)
And, maybe “Todd” would like to explain how much better life has been for African-Americans living in the nation’s capital, Washington, DC—where funding is COMPLETELY in the hands of the GOP-controlled Congress. If Washington’s voters pass a law that the GOP objects to, Congress simply cuts off funds until the law is rescinded.
And, “Todd,” don’t forget that African-Americans living in “red” states tend to be “shunted” into veritable ghettos because of state funding issues which (for some silly reason) tend to go to the white communities and suburbs of those African-American cities. “White flight” has been a major problem for decades and it’s largely been the GOP which has helped aggravate the situation. Redistricting Congressional seats after a Census, for instance—GOP state legislatures made certain to pack as many minority voters (ie, African-Americans, Hispanics, etc) into single districts as they could, helping to keep as few minority groups as possible in whiter districts. And guess what happens? When you wind up with more white/GOP districts, those GOP congressmen feel more incentivized to take a larger share of funds to send to their districts, leaving much less for the minority districts (mostly represented by Dems), even if the minority district needs the funds far more.

Marilyn, what the $^c! are you talking about when you mention “delegates?”
If you’re talking the Electoral Vote narrative, those are ELECTORS (delegates are the things you get through the caucuses and primaries—and those GOP ones were so rigged against tRump that he won the majority of them). The Electoral Vote narrative doesn’t usually mention tRump because he doesn’t have a solid enough baseline that is NOT embarrassing to his candidacy for right-wing sites like FoxNoise. Most liberal sites have been highlighting the 270towin.com base map which shows Hillary with 227 to tRump’s 163.
As for your being “angry,” why is that exactly? Why do you want an “angry” candidate? As for your whole “Mr Trump is definitely not a politician and because of that he is forgiven for his mistakes (has he mms made any? Not really!)” comment, I lost your alleged train of thought with the “mms.” What the heck was that supposed to mean? But you know what? He HAS made mistakes. He’s running to be POTUS and that job does NOT allow for any “on-the-job training.” A lot of GOPers, in the past, have talked about running the country “like a business” and they fail at it because a country is NOT a “business” (and, by the by, tRump has been associated with FOUR bankruptcies in his PROFESSIONAL career as a “businessman”). The man won’t even release his tax records—something that’s been a tradition for nearly 50 years; doing so allows the American people to make sure their President isn’t trying to hide anything shady. (And EVERY President in that time period has made his annual tax return public information. If tRump won’t release his recent tax returns during a campaign, why do you think he’d comply as President?) tRump is also lawsuit-happy, threatening to sue people at the drop of a hat; he can’t do that as President. For crying out loud, he can’t take a little criticism from the press now as candidate (which is why he rarely does press with anyone that’s not affiliated with FoxNoise).
But again, WHY are YOU “angry?” Why do you WANT an “angry” candidate? What makes you better than a run-of-the-mill terrorist? After all, those folks are pretty “angry” themselves for no real reason.

Is O’Reilly not aware that he lives in the United States and that Israel is NOT a part of these United States?
Israel’s foreign and domestic affairs is a legitimate concern, especially as the country keeps getting funds from these United States and it keeps flouting the rules that are supposed to go along with getting US foreign aid. If the US gave even $1 to a country that O’Reilly thinks is breaking the rules for that foreign aid, he’d have no problem screaming that all aid must be cut immediately (and probably demand the country repay every last penny). But foreign aid to Israel has been tied to the illegal Israeli government complicity in building settlements in occupied territory (to say nothing of official US policy—which even existed under Dubya—for a two-state solution that settlement building violates).
If O’Reilly really believes that tRump is going to get a sovereign nation to use its funds to build a wall that tRump wants, then Israeli foreign and domestic policy is a perfectly legal focal point for opposition.

This coach is perfectly able to pray on HIS own time, wherever he chooses but he’s NOT allowed to do so in his position of AUTHORITY (ie, “coach” duties).
For all the deflection of the “freedom” he claims the kids have, they don’t have it in reality. There’s such a thing as “peer pressure.” If you’re a NON-CHRISTIAN, and you exercise your “freedom” to not participate, you’re going to be made to feel like an “outsider.”
That’s why the courts have generally ruled in favor of STUDENT-LED prayers in schools but have been less willing to support AUTHORITY-LED prayers (such as from teachers or principals).
If the “Coach” could prove his students wanted to lead the prayers, he’d have a case. But since it’s “Coach” who’s leading the prayers, he doesn’t.
Oh. “Coach” might want to read his Bible for a little guidance when it comes to prayer. There’s a little story that a nobody named Jesus tells about a guy who makes a big spectacle out of how he prays in front of everybody compared to some weasel who prays quietly, trying hard to not draw attention to himself. And this guy, Jesus, seems to think far more highly of the little weasel’s quiet prayer. Sheesh, you’d almost think this Jesus guy was the son of God or something.

From the story:
“So many of his wounds are self-inflicted,” Miller said about Trump. She later said that there would be more coverage of Clinton’s issues if Trump would stop “getting in the way of the stories that would hurt her.”
Well, Miller’s obviously hit on the key problem for tRump. He NEEDS (almost psychopathically—sorry, Dr All-blow, if I’m stepping on your psychological analysis by proxy toes) to be the center of EVERYTHING. He simply can NOT allow the media to venture from focusing on HIM. tRump’s a narcissist of the highest caliber. If the media were to “cover Clinton’s issues” as Miller suggests, tRump would start whining that the media’s not giving HIM enough coverage—which would then lead to his making yet another major gaffe.
Of course, Miller does (purposefully) ignore the fact that tRump won’t actually quit spouting nonsense that anyone that’s not FoxNoise could reasonably ignore covering. And when it comes down to a choice between “tRump’s latest stupid bit of horse puckey” and "Hillary’s fill in the blank “scandal” that’s already been covered a million times," the mainstream media’s going to go with the newest horse puckey. (Even Judicial Watch’s most recent “shocking e-mail discovery” turned out to be even less substantial than the first set of “shocking e-mail discoveries.” That whole story largely petered out in less than a day—even with the most hardcore of Hillary-haters—because there was no “there” there.)

Hogsweat (yes, the misspelling is intentional) oinked,
“If he’s so dangerous, why are so many members of the military – you look at polls of military and veterans – they overwhelmingly support Donald Trump, who they believe would untie the hands of our war fighters on battlefields where we’re fighting politically correct wars right now. Are there not upsides to sort of blowing up the traditional conventions which haven’t necessarily worked in every corner of the world?”
Oh, you mean the military and veterans who’ve pretty unanimously condemned tRump’s attacks on Capt Khan’s family? Or are these “military and veterans” the ones who spend the majority of their “battles” sitting in armchairs until it’s time to waddle down to the local gun range and shoot a few targets?
As for the ending the “politically correct wars” bit, you mean like the rules that ensure American soldiers are fighting the enemy, instead of torturing and killing innocent civilians? The rules that allow our soldiers to be on the moral side, rather than giving in to wanton slaughter like many of our enemies engage in?
And it’s funny how Hogsweat wants to “blow up the traditional conventions” but how much you want to bet he wants the military to stay “traditional” when it comes to openly LGBT service members and letting women serve in combat? And why does he so strongly want American military personnel to become as bad as the enemy? If they cut off our people’s heads, should we sink to their level? They send suicide bombers, so we drop tons of bombs on civilian targets? We’ve already “blown up” some of the “traditional conventions” by letting standards drop in terms of personnel being high school graduates (or GED equivalent) and skimming over certain “criminal” activity (of course, these folks come back with the new skill set of being more accurate with high-power rifles so they come home and restart their criminal careers by killing more people with more accuracy).

Baldassaro (misspelling deliberate) blathered
“What I said be—she should go in front of the firing squad for treason. What that means to the slow people is that you gotta be found guilty.”
Maybe, dumbass, you’d like to remember that to “be found guilty,” you have to (A) be charged with a crime matching the definition of “treason” and (B) be tried in a fair and impartial trial. The problem, of course, is that there’s also a good chance of being found NOT guilty.
Now, for “treason” to be charged, here’s what the LAW says about it:
“Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.” (That’s 18 US Code §2381.)
OR,
“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.” (That’s the US Constitution, Article III, Section 3.)
Now, “Mr” Baldassaro, would you please show how Hillary Clinton qualifies under the LEGAL definitions of “treason” to be charged with such? I can tell you this much: If Cliven Bundy wasn’t charged with treason, if the boneheads who took over the Malheur Refuge weren’t charged with treason, if Iran-Contra bad guy Ollie North wasn’t charged with treason, then why the hell would you ever think that Hillary Clinton (who’s done FAR less harm to this country than any of those I mentioned—aside from being Hillary Clinton, which, I understand, is a crime in and of itself to GOPers) would EVER be charged with treason, much less tried or found guilty?
If it were up to me, I’d have you repay the US government every last dime you earned as a Marine. You’re a DISGRACE to the Corps. I’d also see that you be denied any retirement pay and stripped of ALL the privileges you earned from being a Marine.

So, what bathroom do his daughters use at home? Does Tuck-tuck have his own personal “man-bathroom” while his wife and daughters have separate facilities for their use, so they’re not exposed to his “filthy” man bathroom habits? (I hope that Tuck-tuck also cleans his personal “man-bathroom” so no woman is “subjected” to his “filthy” habits.)
The weird thing, though, is this: Is Tuck-tuck sure he actually went into the gender-neutral bathroom and NOT one of the men’s rooms by mistake?
Of course, I used to work in jobs where I had to clean the public toilet facilities (a large supermarket and a couple of convenience stores) in the days before there were any gender-neutral facilities and, based on my experiences, women can be just as nasty when using public restrooms as men. In the supermarket, someone (presumably one of the female employees) had posted a sign in one of the ladies’ rooms reading “If you sprinkle when you tinkle, be a sweetie and wipe the seatie”—a sign you wouldn’t expect to see if there weren’t a few women who didn’t mind leaving a mess. Now, the ladies’ rooms were a bit cleaner than the men’s room were but there were times I dreaded going in to clean the ladies’ rooms (nothing like having to close one of the ladies’ rooms because some woman decided to try flushing her sanitary napkin or tampon down the toilet—with poo in the toilet).

This whole crap about the DNC doing anything to benefit Clinton is nonsense. It IS amazing, however, that I don’t see many of the people who are so riled by the (false) accusation having much of a long-term memory. All one needs do is go back and look at 2008 when the DNC most certainly played favorites when it came to Obama vs Clinton. EVERYTHING the DNC did was to Obama’s benefit.
You had the likes of Obama supporter Ted Kennedy pulling the “superdelegates should support the candidate who wins their state” card—until Massachusetts decisively went for Clinton; then, suddenly, “superdelegates should be free to support whomever they feel is the better candidate.”
There was the nonsense with the Florida and Michigan delegations being stripped of their delegates because their state legislatures chose to move the primaries before the “permitted” date; interestingly, Clinton won the majority of each state. Then, when the Rules Committee finally decided to “let” the state’s delegates attend the convention, they were punished by only having each delegate’s vote count as “half.” AND, then the DNC rewarded Obama by giving him nearly half of Michigan’s delegates, despite his name not even being on the state’s primary ballot (he’d voluntarily removed his name from the ballot).
And, then, there were NO hearings into the allegations of intimidation of caucus-goers in Texas, a state which held a primary and a caucus (the primary provided about 2/3 and the caucus provided about 1/3 of the state’s total pledged delegates). Hillary won the primary by 100,000 votes, earning 65 delegates to Obama’s 61. But, the precinct caucuses (the first round in the caucus delegate selection process) were a travesty. Even now—8 years after the fact—there is NO accurate accounting of how many people participated in the first round; the Wiki article on the 2008 Texas primary and caucus can only provide results for 41.1% of the precincts. The Clinton campaign asked for results to be verified before the second stage of the caucuses were held, only to be turned down and the DNC refused to intervene. Plus, there were a number of reports of people being turned away from the caucus sites they were told to go to and some reports of caucus-goers (mostly white and older) being threatened by Obama supporters and some claims that people were too late and wouldn’t be let in (while others who’d arrived even later were admitted with no problem). Some people claimed they were asked for proof they’d voted in the primary (which was a requirement) on that day (which was not; people who’d voted absentee were authorized to participate in the caucus). But, despite State Party officials saying they’d investigate, nothing came of it and the DNC refused to step in as well. (Just imagine the results if this had happened this year and Sanders and his supporters had been on the receiving end of this treatment!)
But Priebus isn’t really one to talk. As I recall, HE was doing his best back in February and March to keep tRump from becoming the Party’s nominee.

Well, I guess Phil’s upset with Miley because she’s no longer of “marryin’ age” for his “klan” (spelling intentional).
Of course, I’d be kind of scared to think what Phil was doing when Miley was the underage “Hannah Montana.”

mj: The problem with the Robin Thicke case is that NO music professional believes that Thicke or Pharrell Williams got a fair deal from that sham of a trial.
The simple fact is if you actually listen to “Blurred Lines” and Gaye’s “Got to Give It Up,” you don’t actually hear any COPIED notes or measures. The feel of the Gaye song is certainly there but a “feel” is NOT a copyrightable musical element. Copyright can legally only extend to specific lyrics or musical notes and passages. But NOT the “feel.”
If a “feel” were copyrightable, then John Lennon and Paul McCartney’s early songs should be credited to Buddy Holly and the Everly Brothers since Lennon and McCartney were both trying to “copy” the “feel” of those earlier performers (Holly for the songs, the Everlys for the harmonies). It’s true that both Lennon and McCartney did acknowledge they were “inspired” by the earlier artists but Thicke has ALWAYS looked to Gaye as an “inspiration.”
No, Thicke’s big “crime” (if there really was one) was being a white artist doing unabashed R&B music and daring to state he wanted to do something with the “feel” of “Got to Give It Up.” Compare his case to the recent Led Zeppelin case over “Stairway to Heaven.” Ultimately, the Zeppelin won by acknowledging they’d “stolen” a musical progression that was centuries old (so, they beat a plagiarism rap by admitting to plagiarizing—just not the specific song for which they were on trial).
(Just to note: I hate virtually every copyright infringement/plagiarism case that comes along because the “aggrieved party” bringing the claim seems to want to wait for YEARS after the song or work has been a big hit. Some guy in Belgium, for instance, brought a lawsuit against Madonna over her 1998 hit, “Frozen.” The guy filed suit in 2005—for a song that had been a big hit, even in Belgium, 7 years earlier; it was a Top 5 chart hit in both parts of Belgium in 1998 and ended the year in as one of the year’s Top 20 songs in both parts. He claimed she’d plagiarized a song he’d written in the early 1990s—supposedly; there were also reports that the guy’s song had been written back in the late 70s. Or like the Men at Work song, “Down Under.” That was a hit in the early 80s but a copyright infringement suit only came about in 2002—that the flute solo improperly used the old Australian song, “Kookaburra.” Had the copyright owners of “Kookaburra” seriously never heard “Down Under”—a #1 hit in Australia in 1981 and #1 in the US in early 1983—before 2002? There seriously should be a statute of limitations of say 5 years or the person bringing the suit needs to prove that he’d never heard the song before bringing the suit. After all, it is a bit funny that you almost never hear of plagiarism/copyright infringement cases involving “flops” or “minor hits”—only big hits.)

I haven’t really been keeping up (I’ve been at work most of the day) but, while I was on break, the news coverage (this was about 4:15pm CDT) was strongly suggesting that the shooter (who may not have been alone) was connected to a militia group.
Most of the “militia” groups active now are strongly RIGHT-WING ANTI-GOVERNMENT (quite likely FoxNoise-watching) people.
Many “militia” members were out there with Cliven Bundy and were connected to the Malheur Refuge incident.
So, if anyone’s got “blood on their hands,” I would suggest that it’s the “good” folks at FoxNoise.

Well, for starters, maybe Kallstrom might want to talk to tRump about that “wall” the Big Orange with Bad Hair keeps wanting to build and ask him what religion the majority of people the “wall” is being built against happen to be. (The overwhelming majority of those “illegals” happen to be, you know, Christians.)
As to that “Sharia law” test, as long as we impose a similar test on GOPers trying to ram through all those anti-LGBT bills in the name of “religious freedom,” I could live with it. Of course, right-wing GOPers don’t have a problem with Christian extremism.
