ALL we can know FOR CERTAIN is that the terrorist(s) PLANNED to attack the EMBASSY COMPOUND. Plenty of embassies were attacked when Dubya was in charge (both with and without casualties) but I don’t recall any Congressional hearings charging Dubya and crew with any negligence, nor did I hear anyone on the right calling any of the casualties “murder victims.”

On a more serious point, it is kind of refreshing that all the right-wing disgust has been homophobia-related rather than race-related (although it wouldn’t really surprise me that the bigots are letting the “ick, gays” overshadow the “ick, interracial”). After having to deal with the Cliven Bundy and Donald Sterling stories of the last several weeks, stories of plain old-fashioned homophobia seem a bit refreshing. Of course, like most other things, too much gets very old, very fast.

Well, if she’s such a proponent of “traditional values,” why the hell is she sitting in front of cameras and not keeping her butt at home? You know, barefoot and pregnant, like a GOOD “traditional” wife would while letting her husband provide everything for her (include what she should be thinking)?

As to Peters’ inane comment about “[t]he Obama administration just wants foreign policy to go away,” might I remind him that, at least, Obama HAS a foreign policy that does NOT involve invading foreign countries on a web of lies. You just know that IF Mrs Obama hadn’t put out that tweet, FoxNoise and the rest of the CONservative freakshow wouldn’t even know about the whole story in the first place. These girls were kidnapped WEEKS ago, but what was FoxNoise’s (on)crack team of investigative journalists working on at the time? Defending Cliven Bundy’s own anti-government terrorist tactics.

If it hadn’t been for that hashtag in the first place, NO ONE would’ve known about the kidnapping. Nigeria’s own government were pretending it never happened, blocking all media coverage and reporting. If Nigeria had cracked down on social media like many authoritarian states, the world would never have known about the kidnapping and FoxNoise would’ve had to find some other reason to bash the First Lady.

Anyone else remember Sen Sam Nunn’s submarine visit and using the “tight quarters” of the ship as a “prime reason” to keep gays from serving, since poor little straight sailors would be continually leered at by “teh gayz”—and worse!!!—because the straight boys wouldn’t have any “privacy.” Oh, and let’s NOT forget the right-wing’s outrage at the idea that military chaplains might be forced to perform same-sex weddings. And why was the right-wing so outraged about that possibility? Oh, right. Because those chaplains might feel their “strong religious beliefs” would prohibit them from doing so. What was Mr Napolitano’s opinion on a military chaplain’s performing a LEGAL same-sex marriage if the chaplain’s religion didn’t accept same-sex marriage? Was he of the “give up certainb rights” opinion then? I’m thinking not.

Well, “Dr” Ablow needs to heed an old adage: Physician, heal thyself.

WHY, for instance, does the subject of sex ed lead Ablow to think about threesomes? What is it about “Dr” Ablow‘s mental state that would automatically lead him to link “sex ed” with “threesomes?” I’m no shrink (nor do I play one on TV) but I can’t help but think “Dr” Ablow has some mental imbalance. Maybe a quick session involving word association and Rorschach ink blots is in order.

Of course, what’s really funny to me is that, considering the book’s main storyline involves a school shooting, carried out by a character who’s bullied, and the female lead is being abused by her boyfriend (who’s involved in the bullying of the other character) and becomes pregnant and has a miscarriage, the father is only upset at the “explicit sex scene.” No wonder the right-wing is so upset.
