Apparently, Eric Bolling didn’t take Jon Stewart’s comedic “F*** you and all your false patriotism” very well. So Bolling “proved” his patriotism by demanding a wage-hike for the military instead of the “takers” who work in the fast food industry. And he blamed Stewart – along with Stephen Colbert and Bill Maher – dubbed the “Moe, Larry and Curly of the left” – for having our national priorities backwards.
On Saturday’s Cashin’ In, Bolling said in his commentary:
When I call out food stamp abuse or minimum wage rage, Colbert, Stewart and the rest of the liberal posse jump down my throat, claiming I don’t care about the takers.
Yeah, because nothing says you care about the poor like calling them “the takers.”
Bolling went on to show how much he loves his country by saying:
Its time to wake up America, the minimum wage debate shouldn’t be over the Big Mac server, it should be over the big gun military protectors of our freedom. We should be upping military pay by multiples rather than debating whether Johnny should get 15 bucks an hour to screw up my order at the drive-through.
I have to be careful, though. Every time I suggest we spend more money on troops, Colbert, Stewart and Maher go on the attack. How dare we spend taxes on those guys when the poor fast food workers have to charbroil? We have our priorities backward, thanks to the liberal goon squad, the Moe, Larry and Curly of the left.
In the first place, Bolling is comparing apples to oranges. Asking for a wage hike in the private marketplace has nothing to do with raising taxes for the military. Secondly, while I’m all in favor of giving the military a pay raise, they also get a lot of benefits minimum wage workers don’t: room, board and medical care, for example.
But more importantly, Bolling seems to be – well, lying on top of whining and smearing. I can’t recall a single incidence of anyone attacking Bolling for calling for a military pay raise. And that might be because I can’t find any incidents of Bolling calling for a military pay raise instead of a minimum pay raise. I know for sure Stewart didn't say anything about it in his epic takedown of Bolling's attacks on the poor (videos below)
Heather at Crooks and Liars says she has never seen any of those comedians attack Bolling for calling for a pay increase for the troops either.
They have skewered Bolling for his attacks on the poor and other reasons.
I have a feeling at least one of these three comedians will have some choice words for Bolling in response.

little eric’s name. Maybe little eric is a
bit jealous of ‘big brother’, hannity, who
is mentioned all the time. After all, it looks
like eric needs to be in a group of Five at all
times. He + 4 then hurl Hate & Fear & Doom
& Gloom like a good little Fox Puppets. They
read from a script. There’s no thinking, no
creativity whatsoever so yea, I think eric is
simply begging for attention like the petulant
child he is….
that’s all.
“Apparently, Eric Bolling didn’t take Jon Stewart’s comedic “F*** you and all your false patriotism” very well.”
So what else is new? I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again and again until I’m blue in the face: Eric Bolling and the rest of his Faux Spews colleagues can sure as hell dish it out, BUT THEY JUST CAN’T TAKE IT!
If Colbert, Stewart and Maher really did attack him for his wanting to “spend more money on the troops”, I would like Bolling to prove it by pulling the video clips of their attacks. He can air them on “The Five”. And, no doubt if asked to prove whether he actually did ask for more troop pay, Bolling will spin it as being about how he was against defense budget cuts or something like that.
One thing was clear though, Bolling was definitely intent on doing some deflecting with his remarks. SQUIRREL! He didn’t even have the balls to directly take on what Stewart said. It would be great if Bolling quit these unrelated attacks SQUIRREL! on the 3 comedians and his apples to oranges comparison of military pay vs. minimum wage SQUIRREL! and, instead, had the guts to admit that his views (with regards to patriotism and respect) really do differ wildly depending on who is in the White House. Btw, his twitter about how he flies an American flag SQUIRREL! and just how big his flag is (compensation for having a little penis, er, for having little public respect for the Office for the President?) are nothing more than another lame ass attempt to distract away from the completely valid argument put forth by Stewart.
