So important that it was worked into a segment, done on the allegedly "fair & balanced" "news" show America's Newsroom, which was only tangentially related to l'affaire Benghazi. Pretty slick, eh?

Howard Kurtz has decided it’s about time somebody took on Stephen Colbert – and Kurtz has volunteered for the job. The only problem? In his heavy-handed attack on Colbert, Kurtz has only served to set himself up as the brunt of more jokes.

Last week, Fox’s Bulls & Bears regular, Gary. B. Smith, called for scrapping the minimum wage. Even though it’s pretty clear that Smith – also a hedge fund manager – has not had to actually live on anything close to the minimum wage anytime lately.

Bill O'Reilly's honorific, as "America's Biggest Gasbag," was underscored, last night, when Bill channeled his sexually repressed and racially skewed views with his scold session about the dangers of  sexualized hip-hop music which he really, Really, loathes. Legion of decency decorated veteran O'Reilly engaged in a rant that was no different from accusations, made by bigoted old white gasbags back in the 50's, that Elvis Presley's Negro "jungle" music and gyrating hips were corrupting innocent white American youth. As the saying goes, everything old is new again and Bill is just so retro - but definitely not the cool kind!

While most of the country was disgusted with Ted Nugent's comments about President Obama last week, Sarah Palin was cheering him on. So it's no big surprise that Sarah Palin should have won this week's Most Outrageous Quote of the Week poll.

Last night, Sean Hannity hosted Patrick Moore, introduced merely as “co-founder of Greenpeace,” who has found “zero evidence that the earth is warming because of human activity.” But for some reason, Hannity failed to mention that Moore’s more recent resumé – like, for the last 20 years – has him as a spokesman for the very industries fingered by real climate change experts.

The Christian right have their tighty whities in a bunch over the Girl Scouts who no longer concentrate on domesticities but provide girls with information on OMG career choices and OMG sex education. As the media mouthpiece for those who long for the good old days of happy, Christian Girl Scouts content with their arts and crafts, Fox News has, for several years, aided and abetted the anti-Girl Scout lies and propaganda promulgated by those who think that today's Scouts are being turned into a bunch of  "boot-stomping, sexualized radicals" who are controlled by Satan's baby killing minions at Planned Parenthood. This week, Elisabeth Hasselbeck kept the propaganda alive.

Shannon Bream ostensibly hosted a discussion about media coverage of Arizona’s anti-gay bill that its governor just vetoed. But Bream made it clear she thought the controversy about the bill was overblown. When guest Bernard Goldberg explained that businesses should not discriminate against customers, she asked, “Why not? Why not? This is America.”

Bill O’Reilly thinks he knows better than President Obama, his advisor Valerie Jarrett and Michelle Obama about how to prevent teen pregnancy and help empower disadvantaged youth. So although O’Reilly was obviously delighted to have been invited to the White House today for the launch of the Obama administration’s “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative, designed to empower boys and young men of color, he just couldn’t help lecturing Jarrett about a few areas that need improving. One of them was for Michelle Obama to come on The Factor and admonish teens not to get pregnant.
