Lynne Cheney: Monica Lewinksy Came Forward Now To Help Hillary Clinton
Lynne Cheney - wife of the torture-lovin', WMDs-toutin' former vice president - promoted a new line that is almost as certainly as valid as the excuse to invade Iraq: that Monica Lewinsky has come forward now in order to help Hillary Clinton's upcoming 2016 presidential campaign. Not surprisingly, Fox host Laura Ingraham bought the idea just like her network bought the Iraq war.
Read moreOn The Five: Woman Who Filmed Abortion Slut Shamed With Anti-Choice Lies, Propaganda
Fox News actively supports the agenda of those who seek to limit women's reproductive rights. Fox & Friends provided a generous platform for opponents of the ACA's birth control mandate. *Fox continues to promote the lie that emergency birth control is abortion. Megyn Kelly trashed pro-choice TX gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis when she stood (literally) against the draconian TX abortion bill. Bill O'Reilly relentlessly attacked an abortion provider (even after Dr. Tiller's murder), maligned Planned Parenthood and women who have abortions. Fox obsessed about the Dr. Gosnell case and equated his practice with legal abortion. But Fox's "The Five," which proudly proclaims its anti-choice agenda, seems to have become Fox's newest "pro-life" champion. Recently, the show focused its ire on a woman who was contemplating abortion as a career move. Last night, the slut shaming continued with an attack on a woman who filmed her own abortion in order to counteract the type of anti-choice agitprop articulated on this edition of The Five. Surprisingly, Benghazi wasn't mentioned!
Read moreFox’s Not Very Touching Support For Monica Lewinsky
Monica Lewinsky has broken her silence and Fox News is all ears. It’s hard to think of a single other Democratic woman whose psychological welfare they have taken such an interest in. Ever. Not surprisingly, Fox’s “concern” looks a lot more like hatred for the Clintons than support for Lewinsky.
Read moreTucker Carlson: Men Think Sexual Harassment Is Awesome!
Last week, on the day Fox’s new show, "Outnumbered," premiered, co-host Tucker Carlson introduced a segment about Felicia Smith, a middle school teacher who was criminally charged after giving a 15 year-old student a lap dance for his birthday. Carlson had a huge problem with her arrest and even argued that that was a dream come true for a teenage boy - that women should try to understand, rather than the other way around.

Despite the reality that it's America's conservative Christians who are attempting to foist their biblically based anti-gay, anti-abortion agenda on the rest of us, in their alternate reality, they are the ones being persecuted. As the mouthpiece for the church of the perpetually besieged Christian, Fox News constantly advances this bogus persecution narrative and nobody embodies this narrative more than, sweet mercy, Todd Starnes, a Jesus loving, homo hating Brooklyn non-hipster whose very existence is consumed with ferreting out examples, regardless of their veracity, of how those Jesus hating, homo loving secularists are out to destroy Christianity. Friday night, Laura Ingraham spoke to Starnes about persecuted Christians and in so doing helped him pimp his new book which is about - you guessed it - persecuted Christians!
Read moreJon Stewart Scorches Fox News Over Benghazi
The Daily Show gave Fox News just what they deserved last night over their Benghazi hypocrisy last night. From excusing Bush administration lies over Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction to attacking those who criticized Donald Rumsfeld’s cavalier comment about going to war “with the army you have, not the army you might want,” Stewart caught some of Fox’s loudest mouthpieces and Republican pals in flagrante delicto!
Read moreBill O'Reilly Praises TMZ Poll As Validation For His Beyoncé Shaming
Bill O'Reilly's obsession with what he considers the sexual impurity of female pop stars began with Miley Cyrus and has been taken to a whole new level with his bizarre belief that the music of Beyoncé will inspire young African-American girls to have unprotected sex leading to pregnancy. He has no qualms about attacking Queen Bey because, as part of his divinely inspired job to look out for us, he's looking out for minority teens who, I guess, are motivated by music videos. Bill is upset about the corrupting effects of Beyoncé's sexy video (always shown during his homilies) and he wants you to share his concern. Thus, he congratulated himself and TMZ for the results of an on-line poll which showed that more folks sided with Bill than Bey. What he didn't mention was that the article's description of Bill wasn't too flattering.

Last week, as part of a discussion about Donald Sterling and race in America, Bill O’Reilly “just asked” basketball great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar if he loves and/or respects this country. Tonight, The O’Reilly Factor followed up by maligning his comments on ABC's This Week, accusing him of "playing the race card" and attacking him for not recognizing what guest host Laura Ingraham whitesplained are the "real" problems facing black America.
Read moreWatch How Fox Drags Benghazi Into White House Correspondents Dinner Review
Predictably, Fox News served up plenty of sour grapes over President Obama’s White House Correspondents Dinner jokes. While TMZ said Obama “absolutely SLAYED it,” the hosts of Outnumbered worked very hard to make you think he was a dud. They complained about “a mostly unsmiling president” who used the word “piss off” and whose jabs at Fox News are “getting a little old.” And then they found a way to gush over the latest Benghazi developments - even though there weren't any.
Read moreClayton Morris: It's 'Emasculating' When Wives Earn More Than Husbands Who Need To 'Bring Home The Bacon'
Conservative women are represented in the upper echelons of politics and business; but the right wing is still a sexist patriarchy as shown by recent comments, by right wing doyenne Phyllis Schlafly, who recently claimed that women prefer husbands who earn more than they do and that if there were pay equity, women would be less able to find a suitable mate. This archaic view of gender roles is promoted on Fox. In hosting Schlafly's niece, Suzanne Venker, who believes that women should submit to men, Fox & Friends suggested that "feminism" is to blame for women getting uppity. Fox's anti-feminism was also given voice in a Fox & Friends segment in which a conservative woman claimed that she was bullied by feminists. Andrea Tantaros, on Fox's newest leg show "Outnumbered," says that feminists are responsible for boys doing badly in school. And yesterday, with a perfectly straight face, Clayton Morris pondered whether it's "emasculating" when wives make more than husbands - a message that dovetails nicely with Fox's strange anti-feminist, anti-"wussification," fear of castration meme. Go figure!
