What Megyn Kelly Should Have Told Her Audience About Glenn Beck’s Financial Motive To Be A ‘Uniter’
You know how I didn’t believe Glenn Beck’s sudden claim to regret being so divisive? Well, it turns out he has a financial incentive to change his stripes. And somehow, in three different segments aired by the Kelly File this week, self-appointed “truth detector” Megyn Kelly didn’t say a word about that.

Gabriel Sherman's unauthorized biography of Fox News' Roger Ailes is now an official New York Times bestseller. While this is great news for those of us who care about the state of our news media, this is bound to be very upsetting to Mr. Ailes, himself. You may recall Ailes fired his close aide, allegedly over leaks to Sherman, and canceled Sherman's subscription to the newspaper owned by Ailes and run by his wife.

After the 2012 drubbing that the GOP took among young women, the RNC solons acknowledged that they need to improve their standing with women who were turned off by "biologically stupid" remarks made by GOP candidates whose comments about rape were, uh, batshit crazy. The GOP recently conducted training sessions on how to speak to and about women - seriously - Doonesbury satirized it nicely. But despite this effort to raise the level of discourse, it would appear that some in the GOP patriarchy still don't get it. Last Saturday, Fox's Mike Huckabee, a possible presidential candidate, talked about how real women don't need "demeaning" free birth control because having babies is what's really important for women's empowerment. And being the expert on women that he is, he said that the women he knows aren't like us pro-choice slutty sluts who are "slaves to their libido." And today, at an RNC meeting, he did it again!
Read moreBill O’Reilly: Boy, I’d Like To Hit Sarah Silverman With A Pie
Comedian Sarah Silverman has a video out that has given Fox News a new excuse to rail against the pro-choice community. In it, Silverman is visited by a Jesus who tells her, “Fertilized eggs aren’t people. People are people.” On tonight’s O'Reilly Factor, host Bill O’Reilly didn’t just object, he announced – with blatant hostility – that he’d like to throw a pie at her.
Read moreEric Bolling: Only Sharpton And The NAACP Perpetrate Racism
Let’s be honest. At this point, saying that Fox News is racist is kinda like saying the sky is blue. A few of this week’s Martin Luther King Day segments, alone, make the case: serial race baiting, Bill O’Reilly whitesplaining race, a pastor painting President Obama as a prelude to the Antichrist, and using MLK’s niece to attack Obama and women’s rights. But yesterday, Eric Bolling insisted that racism is the fault of the NAACP and “the Al Sharptons of the world.”

Sean Hannity revealed on Fox News two nights ago that he is considering running for political office. That is, once he gets around to leaving New York and moving to Texas or Florida.
Read moreOn Fox 'News' - Brit Hume Rants About How Abortion Kills Babies!
If you've ever driven by a Planned Parenthood or abortion clinic, you've seen the throngs of people screaming at the women who are trying to enter the building. In trying to shame women out of having an abortion, these "side walk counselors" frequently "counsel" that these women, who have made an informed decision based on their circumstances, are "killing their babies" - an emotional phrase, based on one particular religious view, that has inspired every abortion doctor murderer and clinic attacker in this country. And now, thanks to Fox News, those who condemn women and doctors as "baby killers," have received further validation for their crusade to control women. Last night, Fox News' éminence grise Brit Hume reinforced the inflammatory narrative about "baby killing" and in so doing demonstrated how the "fair & balanced" news network is the mouthpiece for a very real war on women. Don't ya just love it when rich, aging, Christian men of Fox News lecture us gals about our lady parts!
Read moreKirsten Powers Smacks Down O’Reilly’s Attack On Pornography-Viewing Teacher
Kirsten Powers was nothing less than magnificent on The O’Reilly Factor last night. She took on both Bill O’Reilly and conservative guest Kate Obenshain over O’Reilly’s attempt to smear a Wisconson public school, a teacher and its teachers union over the reinstatement of the teacher after he was caught looking at pornography on school grounds.
Read moreGlenn Back Fear Mongers: Obama’s ‘Dangerous Use Of Power’ Will Lead To A Violent Overthrow
Just one day after Glenn Beck portrayed himself as a uniter, contrite about his past as a divider, he was back on The Kelly File with incendiary rhetoric about President Obama’s “dangerous use of power” and concern trolling that there might be some kind of political violence that would “overthrow” a political party. Host Megyn Kelly listened with rapt, unchallenging attention.
Read moreOn Hannity: Fr. Jonathan Morris Smears Gov. Cuomo By Suggesting He Is Anti-Catholic
Roger Ailes and NY's Cardinal Dolan are friends with benefits in that their close personal relationship has resulted in some sweet quid-pro-quo's courtesy of the "fair & balanced" news network. In giving the bishops nationally televised support for their opposition to "Obamacare," Ailes is able to put the Catholic seal of approval on what are also GOP talking points with the hope that more Catholics will vote Republican. The quid-pro-quo is also reflected in the frequent presence, on Fox, of NY priest (Columbia chaplain) Fr. Jonathan Morris who is always ready to provide a nexus between Catholic and right wing talking points. And because of Morris' cult following popularity, Ailes gets more viewers. Sweet. Last night, during a Hannity rant about why he doesn't heart NY because of that nasty Governor Cuomo who hates godly conservatives, Morris, once again, showed us why he sits at the right hand of Roger Ailes - spiritually speaking, or course.
