Robert Jeffress: ObamaCare And Gay Marriage Are Preludes To The Antichrist

Posted by Ellen -7859.80pc on January 20, 2014 · Flag

Extremist Pastor Robert Jeffress announced to O’Reilly Factor viewers tonight that President Obama is somehow paving the way for the antichrist via ObamaCare, same sex marriage and the contraception mandate. Not surprisingly, “no spin” Bill O’Reilly offered no challenge to Jeffress’ outrageous claims.

Media Matters has a nice profile of Jeffress’ extremism – and the media’s knee-jerk acceptance of him as a legitimate commentator. Our own Priscilla has written about his many friendly appearances on Fox.

Now, in his latest right-wing attack disguised as religion, Jeffress told O’Reilly:

There’s going to be a future world dictator, before Christ returns, who’s going to usurp people’s personal …rights. …He’s going to wage war against God’s people, he’s gonna change God’s laws and he’s going to do it without any opposition. And my question was, how’s he going to be able to pull that off? And my thesis is, people will have been conditioned long before the Antichrist comes to accept governmental overreach. And that’s what you’re seeing with President Obama right now.

Jeffress predicted this cataclysm (or is it the apocalypse?) will be worse than the Nazis or Stalinism. But, he said, “I want to be clear… I’m not saying President Obama is the Antichrist. In fact, I’m sure he’s not. Because the Antichrist is going to have higher poll numbers, according to the Bible, at least at the beginning. But I believe he is conditioning people to accept governmental overreach which they will finally give in to when this final dictator comes, whether that’s ten years from now or a thousand years from now."

Jeffress assured viewers that Obama “doesn’t consciously know” the evil he’s bringing down on the country. But it’s not just via ObamaCare, it’s also the contraception mandate and same-sex marriage.

“The good news is, though, Christ is coming back,” Jeffress assured us.  “The short-term forecast for the world is turbulent, the long-term forecast is good.”

Evidently, he either assumed everyone watching was Christian. Or maybe he just didn’t care whether other people’s views – religious or otherwise - might see things differently.

WOW… I just read all these comments and I can already see how the peoples minds are being deceived. The government wants to have complete control and it is quite obvious that it is going in that direction quickly. And here we have all these ignorant people in the world that always have something to say, when really the words are empty. But that is what the bible says…many will be deceived and of course it will be against the ones trying to teach and prepare the world for what is to come. Well you keep your ignorance and I will keep my God and bible. My prayers go out to this fallen world.

Hey Bill, why is it OK for Pastor Jeffress to say these things about our Country, but not OK for Pastor Wright to say these things about our Country?
While we’re at it, why is it wrong for Pastor Wright to criticize some of our Countries “moral failings,” but when you criticize some of our Countries “moral failings” it’s OK because you claim to be “looking out for the folks?”
You’re such a hypocritical douche-bag.

Lord, why did you give us so many idiots? Pardon the pun, but what the hell is going on? Seriously!

Now we’ve always had a certain percentage of these types, but lately it seems they’re everywhere or at least get booked on Fox News.

I remember the buyble saying something about letting he who is without sin casting the first stone!
I wonder if this “Pastor” gets tax-exempt status after saying the horrible things he says?
I sent an e-mail to Billdo asking if he would have someone on the show to counter the “Pastor” and Billdo’s premise, after all, it’s the “fair and balanced” network!

To call him a “pastor” is a stretch. This false prophet is a media whore looking for his next appearance on any television network.

If this “pastor” wants to discuss evil deeds he should begin his adventures at this amateur “news” network, beginning with that boar who thinks he’s king, followed by the hot-headed splotchy one who claims to be a Roman Catholic, and the Iberian-looking clown with the beer belly.

If the anti-Christ had a favorite station it would be Fox “News.”

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, Mr Jeffress, they’ve been saying pretty much the same thing for the last 1950 or so years. And yet, we’re absolutely NO closer now than we were back around the time of Nero to that “second coming.”
