Sean Hannity revealed on Fox News two nights ago that he is considering running for political office. That is, once he gets around to leaving New York and moving to Texas or Florida.
In a new segment on Hannity in which viewers write in questions - and Fox Business' Dagen McDowell cherry picks which ones get read - Hannity was asked, "Will you run for office or do you feel you can accomplish more where you are now?"
Hannity's answer:
Yes, I'd think about it. ....I'm leaving New York... soon as I can.... I'm gonna leave 'cause Andrew Cuomo doesn't want us here so I'm gonna leave on my time frame... but I will definitely leave New York so it would be in either Texas or Florida.
Hannity didn't say what office he's considering. However, he will be attending the State of the Union with Texas Congressman - and birther - Louie Gohmert.
As I previously posted, I suspect Hannity's GBCW to New York is about as genuine as his 2009 pledge to undergo waterboarding for charity. And just as he did the night before when he vowed to leave New York "as soon as I can," Hannity immediately made it clear that won't be very soon. He's too important - i.e. he has "contractual obligations" and a lot of people working for him - and he's too selfless - (kids in school in New York).
In other words, don't hold your breath. But if he does go, it almost certainly has everything to do with Hannity's desire to stint on taxes and his political aspirations. And probably nothing to do with Gov. Cuomo.

Smart television senior executives would not extend his contract, and send him packing. They can hire a younger host to replace him.
The Stop Hannity Express says Hannocchio may not run for office due to numerous skeletons in his closet. He’s made a lot of enemies in the past few years, and they know all about his dirty linen dating back to his years in Santa Barbara, Huntsville, Atlanta, and New York. There are gems about him during his years in the construction industry, including that one special foreman.
The Express says run, Hannocchio, run. Our media partners have enough gems to clean the floor with him, and more. Then all of his audience will finally know the real truth about him.
