Recently, in two Fox & Friends segments, Tucker Carlson discussed the U of Missouri's "Diversity Guide," an "educational resource" which assists professors in "planning classroom activities and other academic and co-curricular events" around religious holy days celebrated by students. Carlson lied when he claimed that the "frivolous and silly" guide recommended that no exams be scheduled on Wiccan holy days. He lied when he suggested that Wiccans get an official day off on their holy days which, he falsely claimed, are recognized by the school. He lied when he claimed that they have a "ton of holidays." But worse, he attacked Wiccans as Christian haters and stereotyped them as incense loving, twice divorced, rural, older women who are mid-wives and addicted to Dungeons and Dragons. Today he apologized for offending the Wiccans. The claims that Wiccans get special treatment still stand. So much for "fair & balanced." Oh right, this is an opinion show...

We're still getting inundated with emails meant for Fox News. I don't know whether their viewers are getting dumber or it's their subconscious way of reaching out to sanity, hehe. But however they landed in the News Hounds email box, here they are for your enjoyment - and for whichever Fox News lackey, who surely monitors this site, to do with as you see fit.

Earlier today Neil Cavuto “spoke” with Rep. Mike Capuano (D-MA) about the President’s “scary talk” on sequestration, in Cavuto’s words. But Cavuto spent so much time interrupting and talking over Capuano that it was pretty much a one-sided conversation. And while he was at it, Cavuto pretended President Obama had threatened the cuts would lead to horse meat in our meat supply. 

It has now been 1402 days, or three years and 10 months, since Sean Hannity said, on April 22, 2009, he'd undergo waterboarding to prove it's not torture - and do it to raise money for charity. Time to man up, Sean, to borrow one of you favorite phrases, and either fulfill your promise or explain why you haven't.

Bill O'Reilly is obsessed with what he believes is the demise of a "traditional" America in which white Christian men ruled over women who stayed home and made babies, gays who were closeted, and minorities who knew their place and didn't want hand-outs. In yet another screed about the loss of the good times, O'Reilly's Tuesday night's Talking Points focused on what he believes are examples of a nanny state America. On Wednesday, in Part II of "America's Biggest Problems," he focused on lack of "traditional" accountability in librul America: A NJ Supreme Court decision which Bill opposes because an evil, pregnant woman was not sufficiently punished and NY Governor Cuomo's proposal to expand abortion rights which Bill opposes because evil women will take advantage of it to have abortions "for any reason" - a theme echoed throughout O'Reilly persecution of the murdered abortion provider, Dr. George Tiller. After Bill bloviated, he lectured Bob Beckel while further bloviating, lying, and pushing his misogynistic anti-abortion propaganda. Ah, good times....

If anybody thinks that Fox News has moderated, then look to the continued presence of Liz Cheney, Republican operative disguised as a “political analyst”   - oh, and likely Republican candidate in 2014. Cheney's only “analysis” seems to consist of painting President Obama as a traitor. Last night, she did it again on the Hannity show, saying, “He’s been very clear, he wants to weaken the United States, he wants to diminish our power in the world. He doesn’t believe the United States should be the preeminent power in the world.”

If you had any reason to doubt that O'Reilly Factor's stalker producer Jesse Watters – editor of the go-to website for people longing for President Obama’s assassination, Fox Nation – is anything less than a malicious bully, then check out how he deliberately ambushed and harassed President Obama’s “illegal alien” uncle – all the while pretending to “just want to talk.” 

President Obama’s call to raise the minimum wage to $9 an hour provoked not just disagreement from “comedian” Adam Carolla and Bill O’Reilly but the kind of venom and scorn for struggling Americans that Marie Antoinette would have loved. Carolla actually argued that anyone on minimum wage who has children and then uses “our roads” and “our schools” is some kind of good-for-nothing moocher. O’Reilly didn’t challenge that but argued that nobody “willing to work hard” earns minimum wage.

That Fox News is closely allied with anti-abortion extremists was underscored, yet again, on this morning's alleged "news" show, "America Live." As official Fox Priest, Fr. Jonathan Morris, is attending a seminar, Martha MacCallum brought in Fr. Frank Pavone who is head of a radical group of celibate, Roman Collared guys whose sole mission is to eliminate abortion rights. Pavone, a supporter of anti-abortion domestic terrorist Randall Terry, was first embraced by Fox News during the Terri Schiavo media circus when Pavone was the "spiritual advisor" to the Schindler family.  He has been interviewed, on Fox "News," about the state of the Catholic Church which he thinks is just dandy. He was Fox's go to guy for lies about how the Canadian health system was treating a terminally ill child whom he "rescued." And today, he and his Catholic pal Martha MacCallum chatted about the issues confronting the next pope which for, Martha and Frank, don't include the systemic and global problem of Church enabled pedophilia. Shhh.....

As part of his job of looking out for the folks, it's apparent that Bill O'Reilly feels that he can appoint himself judge and jury of pregnant women who, if they don't follow O'Reilly's 1950's standards of behavior, MUST BE PUNISHED. While O'Reilly is neither a medical clinician nor a lawyer, he feels that he is qualified to bloviate about a recent New Jersey Supreme Court decision which ruled that illegal drug use by a pregnant woman does not constitute child abuse. The case involved a woman who, because she tested positive for cocaine on the day that she gave birth to a baby who had traces of cocaine in his system, was found guilty of abuse and neglect. That finding was later overturned by the NJ Supreme Court and Bill O'Reilly, who is fuming about it, says it's crazy. And we all know that when it comes to women's bodies, Bill knows best! We know cuz he says so - and if you don't get it "there's something the matter with you," bitches!
