Fox's Wayne Rogers Uses Immigration Crisis To Promote Impeachment
In a Fox News “business block” discussion about the child immigration “crisis of epic proportions on the southern border,” host Eric Bolling “asked,” “who’s to blame.” As if we couldn’t guess who would be fingered. But regular Wayne Rogers used the opportunity to call for President Obama’s impeachment
Read moreLou Dobbs Suggests That The Child Immigrant Crisis Is Part Of Obama’s Grand Plan To Swamp The U.S. With Hispanic Children
Fox News’ Hispanophobe and birther, Lou Dobbs, came up with a ridiculous conspiracy theory that President Obama is deliberately orchestrating the overwhelming influx of immigrant children. Any responsible news organization would have fired him on the spot. But on Fox News, where even host Bill O’Reilly found the notion farfetched, you can rest assured Dobbs will suffer no ill consequences. In fact, O’Reilly closed the discussion by calling Dobbs’ thesis “provocative” and promising to examine it further.

Fox News psychiatrist Keith Ablow once again won our Fox News Outrageous Quote of the Week poll. This time, Ablow offered up his special insight into the swap of five Taliban prisoners for captive Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl – and surprise, surprise – concluded that it was all a symptom of President Obama’s lack of “Americanism.”

Anyone who's logged on to the internet today, probably has heard about embattled Senator Thad Cochran's jaw-dropping statement to a Fox News reporter, allegedly showing complete ignorance about House Majority Leader Eric Cantor's stunning primary loss earlier this week. But the Cochran camp says he was joking and that Fox reporter Kyle Rothenberg should have known it.

Fox News, in its crusade (or is it jihad) to divide Americans, knows that nothing keeps hate alive better than inculcating, in its righteous viewers, a sense of being besieged by the dark forces of "the other." Despite the reality that Christianity is doing just fine, Fox has created an alternative dualistic world straight out of Revelation in which Christianity is under attack. This weird world that has been embraced by Fox personality Todd Starnes who, like his fellow Fox Christians, believes that the nefarious forces of secularism and the gay agenda are trying to eradicate Jesus in favor of a godless America which, coincidentally, is the title of his new book "Godless America." This morning, as part of his Fox book pimping tour, he joined his fellow Jesus BFF Elisabeth Hasselbeck to push his book about persecuted Christians. As usual, he was basically full of southern fried shit.
Read moreTed Cruz Exploits Sudanese Christian Woman’s Plight – And Megyn Kelly Helps
The plight of a pregnant Sudanese woman, wife of a naturalized American, on death row for marrying a Christian, is horrifying no matter what your politics, religion or nationality. During his appearance on The Kelly File last night, Senator Ted Cruz made a splashy exhibition of humanitarian concern. But he was clearly more interested in promoting his own political career and agenda than in helping the poor woman. One of the "first questions" that came to his mind, he said, was not what he could do to help but how much President Obama is at fault. Not surprisingly, host Megyn Kelly didn't challenge Cruz' self-serving behavior.

Glenn Beck visited the Hannity show for a double session of one percent schmoozing that included Beck’s deepest thoughts on national security and a willingness to put Hannity in the next movie he produces. And while he was at it, he argued that the only right-wing extremists in this country are racists and Nazis. Of course, he and Sean Hannity failed to take any personal responsibility for the extremists they pal around with.

There’s been a bit of protesting too much at Fox News over accusations that they and their right-wing pals have Swift boated Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. Tonight, Sean Hannity did his part by trotting out the discredited John O’Neill, an actual Swift boater, to smear Bergdahl and, of course, the Obama administration. No mention of O’Neill’s ties to Karl Rove and Republicans.
Read moreMegyn Kelly Still Validating Dennis Michael Lynch's Border Hysteria
The surge of unaccompanied children at our southern border is truly a humanitarian crisis. But rather than address the root causes of the problem and possible solutions, Fox News has chosen to use these poor children to attack Pres. Obama and, even more cravenly, spread fear about the "illegals" who are already here. Rather than discussing the issue with local authorities, immigration attorneys, and others who actually know something about the problem, Fox News is relying on the observations of the rabidly xenophobic, racist, and paranoid "filmmaker" and Cliven Bundy fanboy Dennis Michael Lynch. On Monday night's Kelly File, while Judge Napolitano bashed Obama, Lynch engaged in his trademark border hysteria in relationship to the children. As usual he was validated by an almost hysterical Megyn Kelly. Last night he was back for more border hysteria while Kelly, playing the "good cop," feigned concern for the children.
Read moreFox Promotes Myth That U.S. Paid Ransom For Bergdahl Release
Fox News promoted a discredited claim that the United States may have paid a ransom to recover Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl from the Taliban. That’s in addition to the U.S. release of five Taliban prisoners in Guantanamo Bay that have been exchanged for Bergdahl. The U.S. has flatly denied the charge and neither host Martha MacCallum nor guest Brit Hume offered any evidence to substantiate it. Yet, they presented it as a legitimate “question.”
