Robert Jeffress: ObamaCare And Gay Marriage Are Preludes To The Antichrist

Posted by Ellen · January 20, 2014 11:14 PM · 9 reactions

Extremist Pastor Robert Jeffress announced to O’Reilly Factor viewers tonight that President Obama is somehow paving the way for the antichrist via ObamaCare, same sex marriage and the contraception mandate. Not surprisingly, “no spin” Bill O’Reilly offered no challenge to Jeffress’ outrageous claims.

Could Fox’s ‘Objective News’ Host Bill Hemmer Be Any More Biased?

Posted by Ellen · January 20, 2014 6:19 PM · 4 reactions

On today’s “objective news” show, America’s News HQ, co-host Bill Hemmer made the “fair and balanced” rules very clear: no talk of obstructionist Republicans allowed; criticize President Obama all you want.

Sarah Palin ‘Observes’ Martin Luther King Day By Race Baiting President Obama

Posted by Ellen · January 20, 2014 4:08 PM · 7 reactions

Fox News contributor Sarah Palin joined the using-MLK Day-to-race-bait-President-Obama club today. On Facebook, she posted a message saying, “Mr. President, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. and all who commit to ending any racial divide, no more playing the race card.” Touching, eh?

Fox Nation 'Observes' Martin Luther King Day By Race Baiting President Obama

Posted by Ellen · January 20, 2014 2:43 PM · 7 reactions

Today is Martin Luther King Day but you'd probably not know that by reading Fox Nation. Not only is there no commemoration of King nor his work but the top story right now is a race baiting headline, with certain words in red, for extra emphasis: Obama: Some Folks Don't Like Me Because I'm Black.  It turns out Fox cherry picked that quote out of a lengthy article that was a much broader picture of Obama. (H/T Andrew S.)

Mike Huckabee: Making Babies Is Women's Empowerment?!

Posted by Priscilla · January 20, 2014 11:45 AM · 9 reactions

anti-choice_Fox.jpg

When it comes to anti-choice extremism, Fox's Mike Huckabee is king of them all, y'all. He opposes abortion except when a woman's life is at risk. He has compared abortion to the Holocaust and in doing was criticized by the ADL. He has called for a federal ban on abortion. He supports "personhood" for the fetus which, if enacted into law, would also ban certain types of birth control. In the war on women's reproductive rights, he's in the Praetorian Guard. On his Saturday night show, he used the occasion of the annual "March for Life," taking place this week in Washington DC and other cities, to preach his anti-choice message which shows us, once again, that Fox News is the media mouthpiece for a patriarchal system that seeks to drive us back to the days of the back alley which, despite Huckabee's assertion to the contrary, isn't empowering women at all!

Fox Guest Suggests Raising Minimum Wage An Obama Plan To Sabotage The Poor

Posted by Ellen · January 19, 2014 6:00 PM · 4 reactions

Yesterday’s Forbes On fear mongered about the possibility that Obamacare cancellations may hurt small business workers. Several of the (as usual) imbalanced panel argued that President Obama was deliberately punishing small business with the program because they are Republicans. However, guest John Tamny took the bashing to a whole new level. He made the ludicrous suggestion that Obama’s efforts to reduce income inequality are a sign that he HATES poor people.

Fox News Sunday Ignores New Christie Scandal Developments

Posted by Ellen · January 19, 2014 4:42 PM · 7 reactions

In case you missed it, there are major new developments in the Chris Christie “Bridgegate” scandal. The mayor of Hoboken, NJ has come forward to accuse the governor of threatening to withhold Hurricane Sandy relief funds unless she supported the Rockefeller Project, a development project he favored. But you’d never know that from watching Fox News Sunday today. That show was too busy questioning the Obama administration to find any time to discuss Christie.

Ann Coulter's 'There's More Cholera Than Racism' Comment Wins Our Outrageous Quote

Posted by Ellen · January 19, 2014 3:18 PM · 5 reactions

Ann Coulter's views on racism are about as trustworthy as her voting record, our readers seem to think. Her declaration that cholera is now more prevalent in the United States than racism was the decisive winner in our Fox News Outrageous Quote of the Week poll.

Bill O'Reilly Makes Bogus Claim That Mainstream Media Ignored Pope's Comment On Abortion

Posted by Priscilla · January 19, 2014 1:58 PM · 2 reactions

Bill_the_Theologian.jpg

Pope Francis' views on the evils of the trickle-down system of capitalism don't comport with Bill O'Reilly's gospel of f**k the poor. But when it comes to abortion, the devout, divorced Catholic O'Reilly is solidly with the Pope. Tuesday night, O'Reilly excoriated the so called liberal media for having played up the Pope's comments about social justice while ignoring the Pope's recent comments which condemn abortion. It was vintage O'Reilly. While claiming that the media exploits the Pope, he clearly used the Pope to smear the media. So O'Reilly double standard, check. And in attempting to smear the media, he provided information that wasn't true. So O'Reilly lie - check. But Bill O'Reilly is a devout Catholic and divinely inspired, too. So it's all good....

Fox Nation Readers Salivate Over Murdering President Obama

Posted by Ellen · January 18, 2014 4:27 PM · 5 reactions

On January 3, 2014, Fox Nation posted an article about O.J. Simpson “begging” President Obama to pardon him. Fox Nation often posts stories that seem to have no purpose other than to race bait, especially against President Obama. This one seems to be no exception. But what’s even worse is that readers freely expressed blatant desires to murder President Obama. Sadly, it's a common occurrence on Fox Nation. So why isn't there any moderating? More than two weeks later, the threats were still there when I started writing this post (about 40 minutes ago). Rest assured I will report them to the White House as soon as this post is finished. (H/T Barbara S.)
