U.S. Representative Keith Ellison has been a target of Fox News since 2006. But now that Ellison is in the running to become the next head of the DNC, Fox has Ellison squarely in its sites. This week, Fox used a favorite African-American racist, Kevin Jackson, to smear Ellison as a - drum roll please - racist!

It's no secret that Fox always makes sure that its female hosts' legs are given maximum exposure. But we did not realize until recently that Fox would alter the desk on a show depending on the sex of its host.

In its commitment to diversity (!?), Fox has added to its growing coterie of African-American right wingers, Thaddeus Dionne Alexander whose "viral" video, scolding those who protest Trump, scored bigly in Fox/right wing circles. This morning, Alexander got more free face time on Fox & Friends in order to scold those nasty, America-hating flag burners.

Even though Megyn Kelly clearly disagreed with Donald Trump’s anti-American demand that flag burners should be prosecuted and/or stripped of citizenship, she nonetheless offered a friendly forum for a Trump supporter – and attorney, no less – to equate flag-burning protest with arson and to suggest that kind of dissent should be squelched.

In its never-ending quest to extol liberty, Fox News once again set out to stifle it by whipping up hatred and animosity toward those who have differing opinions. In this case, stalker producer Jesse Watters literally invaded the home of a man who dared to have a different opinion about the flying of a flag on campus. 

We can not let Fox News forget how much its pundits hated when President Obama saved over a million more jobs than President-elect Trump did.

On Fox’s The Five yesterday, the cohosts discussed the possibility that Congress might repeal Obamacare before coming up with a plan that replaces it, thus leaving millions in the lurch and without health insurance. That’s probably a disturbing scenario to most people. But potential Trump employee and current cohost Eric Bolling doesn’t see a problem because, “You have emergency rooms.”

If you think that one of the keys to fighting terrorism is labeling it as “global jihad,” then Donald Trump’s hiring of Katharine Gorka for the Department of Homeland Security transition team ought to make you feel secure. The rest of us have good reason to worry.

Many of Fox's African-American contributors promote right wing and anti-black talking points. And they're not exactly mainstream. (Think Allen West, Alveda King, Bishop E.W. Jackson, and Sheriff David Clarke.) In keeping with that pattern, today's Fox & Friends featured Bishop Wellington Boone who scolded black people for their bad behavior!

Sean Hannity continued his McCarthy-esque attacks on the press last night by singling out CNN’s Jeff Zeleny for the “crime” of calling out Donald Trump’s baseless claim that he lost the popular vote because “millions” voted illegally. Yet Hannity never provided any evidence that Zeleny was wrong.
