Alveda King, Dr. Martin Luther King's conservative niece, who described her job as "in charge of civil rights for the unborn," visited Fox News to offer her prescription for the Black Lives Matter protests in Charlotte, North Carolina that have turned violent.
Alveda King is estranged from her uncle's family but Fox host Neil Cavuto did not point that out when he introduced her as the niece of Martin Luther King and the daughter of A.D. King (also a civil rights activist).
Alveda King was put in the conservative clean-up spot after host Neil Cavuto got into a heated discussion with Rev. Jesse Jackson. And she didn't discount him too much. But she did say this about solving black crime:
"I believe that if we go ahead and bring the jobs back to America, put America back to work, stop aborting so many babies, let people pray in the public square again, we’re going to see crime go down."
She also cited good education “instead of throwing condoms, free condoms” at kids as another solution.
Newsflash for King: Prayer in public, even on government property, is already allowed.
Cavuto did not correct her.

Fox News can’t honestly discuss what’s going on here. Neil alludes to statistics, says he understands them, but doesn’t explore them. No, nothing to see here scared [of the scary black man] white Fox fanboys, let’s quickly move along.
Kick the standard ‘disadvantaged’ talking points to the curb for a moment please. Does asshat Cavuto imagine if affluent white suburbanites were getting targeted by police for an economic shakedown they wouldn’t react in outrage? The Tea Party wouldn’t hit the streets? Witness their diaper disruption over alleged IRS targeting even though there’s no evidence I’m aware of they were disproportionally targeted relative to liberals; it was just an artifact of the mushrooming Tea Party movement swamping the IRS with requests.
Because that’s what was going on in Ferguson. That’s the DOJ report the other day Megyn Kelly desperately ignored because she’s only interested in the one exonerating [white] Officer Wilson. The DOJ proved the Ferguson police were targeting underclass blacks as a revenue source. Some irony there? Squeeze the poor for money? Just like Jesus would do Alveda? DOJ also proved this behavior was based in systemic racism inherent in criminal justice behavior from police stops all the way through the courts.
I missed Jesse Jackson’s statements Fox inevitably is knee-jerking a diaper fill over. I’ll admit I’m not a huge Jackson fan because he isn’t a liberal spokesman I find particularly articulate. However, I can’t imagine him or any mainstream liberal advocating violence, even if they can explain the frustrations behind it.
Neil glosses over any detailed analysis of why the shooting of yet another potentially unarmed black man by police keeps sparking mass demonstrations. Fox always segues to the black on black crime bulls—t which isn’t the source of any of this but fits Fox’s conservative narrative of ‘fear the black man’. Because the right-wing solution for black on black crime espoused by Fox heroes like Der Furor is to double-down on the targeting of blacks which is the root of the protests. In that context, how stupid is this entire Fox segment, folks?
