Wow, Cavuto knows nothing of the Donald, does he?
From this, you’d think that Cavuto just woke up from under a rock after being asleep for the last 100 years.
The Donald would NEVER consent to being a mere “running mate” to anyone. If he can’t be the GOP’sführer presidential nominee, he won’t run as a GOPer.
I’d almost love it if Trump—after losing the GOP nomination (but still running a hard second or very, very close third place—as in just behind the second-place candidate) decided to mount an independent campaign and peeled off enough GOPTP votes to ensure a Dem in the White House until the end of the decade. But, Trump’s ego would never let him do that. He knows he could never win as an independent (and I can’t imagine any third party being so desperate as to take him on as their nominee—especially since most third parties have their candidates named before the D or R conventions) and he’s not about to let anything crush his ego that much. Coming in second or even third in the GOP contest would be bad enough but coming in no better than third place (and, more likely, even lower) would never sit well. (He couldn’t fire enough employees to soothe his ego after such a thumping in the political arena.)

Ruth, I’m not a doctor, but it appears you’re suffering from a case of Palinitis. That’s when you write a lot of words but they collectively make no sense.
However, from what I can fathom from the last part of your comment, yes, that flag was a part of history. Unfortunately, it was a symbol of HATRED and TERROR to tens of millions of people. And, let’s look at it this way: How do you think FoxNoise (or even you) would react if someone suggested that the WW2 Imperial Japanese flag be placed anywhere at Pearl Harbor for, you know, “history” reasons? Something tells me the reaction would feature a lot of vilifying invective and, inevitably, something about “they lost” or “they were defeated” being reason enough to keep that flag from anywhere near Pearl Harbor. Remember that the CONFEDERATE BATTLE FLAG was originally raised in South Carolina as a memorial to the CONFEDERATE ATTACK ON A UNITED STATES FORT which led to the Civil War. And it remained there as a symbol of SOUTHERN DEFIANCE OF AND HOSTILITY TO the integrationist movement in the late 50s and early 60s. In simpler words, Ruth, that flag is a flag of TREASON against the United States of America.
How has FoxNoise reacted to stories of American young people attempting to join ISIS? Yet, FoxNoise can’t be bothered to even acknowledge the removal of the flag of TRAITORS from government-owned property. (Then again, FoxNoise has a tie to ISIS, thanks to the Saudi connection, so treason may come fairly easy to FoxNoise.)

Well, “Art” (I see another troll has wandered over here), bear in mind that Russell actually was NOT “defending herself.” As Richard’s post reads—and I quote directly—“her husband shot and killed an alleged attacker.”
Now, unless Russell is not only her own self but also her husband at the same time, she wasn’t “defending herself”—she had to rely on her husband to do the job that she so selfishly wants to take the credit.
Pearlman was merely doing what any LEGITIMATE reporter (not that that particular term applies to anyone at FoxNoise) should’ve asked Russell in an interview.
And as to Kelly’s guest, Loesch, claiming that Pearlman was “blaming the victim,” we hear that kind of victim blaming from theKlan members talking heads at FoxNoise all the freaking time.
Now, waddle off to your bridge. I think the goats are going to get across safely if you don’t.

@ doors17: It’s like I alluded on another thread—FoxNoise is only interested when it’s white victim/non-white perp. When it’s white perp/non-white victims, then the network’s less concerned.
I mean, no disrespect intended for the SF victim, but it would’ve been nice if FoxNoise had shown even 1/1000000th as much concern or interest over the Charleston 9 who were ruthlessly murdered by a white man (whose own particular values system seems not too far removed from that of FoxNoise).

What people are overlooking as to why this pic is so truly offensive is that the real Desi Arnaz was not nearly that “brown.”
Here’s a color picture of Lucille and Desi from 1952 that shows why the image is offensive:
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3029768192/nm0000789?ref_=nm_phs_md_1
And another from 1955:
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2945501440/nm0000789?ref_=nmmi_mi_all_pbl_17
And another from 1957 (this one taken outside):
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2576521216/nm0000789?ref_=nmmi_mi_all_bts_8
And, of course, if you watch ANY of the old “I Love Lucy” episodes, Ricky doesn’t look any darker than Fred Mertz (played by William Frawley who was born in Iowa) or Ethel Mertz (played by Vivian Vance who was born in Kansas).
Bobby (Paula’s son) is okay as far as the hair is concerned but he shouldn’t have done the face makeup. I guess he really should’ve watched that episode of “Designing Women” when Suzanne decided to go all-out for her Diana Ross impersonation and put on the skin toner. (He might also go back and find out why Neil Diamond took such heat for HIS little “blackface” performance in “The Jazz Singer.” The film’s producers said it was to pay tribute to the Al Jolson version but they completely ignored how tone-deaf the brief appearance was.)

And again, I’d love to know why this ONE white woman’s death at the hands of an (apparently) illegal immigrant is getting far more coverage on FoxNoise than the deaths of NINE innocent African-American men and women IN A CHURCH at the hands of a little white racist turd.
Or did I answer my own question?
I’m sorry the woman died at all but it looks to me like FoxNoise is simply stirring up the race-pot by focusing on a single dead white woman by a minority when it’s chosen to ignore or misdirect focus on NUMEROUS dead African-Americans (mostly at WHITE hands—including law enforcement).

I’d love to send a letter to the good folks of Milwaukee and suggest they have a recall election to remove their sheriff. His job is obviously NOT important or he wouldn’t be on FoxNoise so frequently. Granted, sheriffs in most jurisdictions are really little more than “top dog” administrators who do very little in the way of actual police work but it strikes me as odd that the people of Milwaukee County are actually paying a guy a salary, but he’s not really doing that job.
I’d think there would be some sort of ethical violation involved. Are there any other regular FoxNoise “guests” who are also current elected officials?

Yeah. Because one death at the hands of an illegal immigrant is so much more horrific than the deaths of nine Black people inside a church at the hands of a white racist.

You know, if these people (and I use that term very loosely) on FoxNoise knew anything about ISIS, they’d give up their fear-mongering about Iran and endorse a quick treaty with that country since ISIS considers Iran to be an even greater enemy than the governments in either Iraq or Syria since Iran is a Shi’ite state (the Syrian government is run by Alawites which is essentially a spin-off branch of Shi’a in a manner not dissimilar to the relationship of Baptists to the Protestant movement).
Then too, it’d be nice if the “diligent journalists” of FoxNoise would look a little closer to home, they might see how their own network can play the political version of the “Kevin Bacon game” to connect FoxNoise to ISIS. (Hint: It involves a certain Saudi prince who owns a piece of the Murdoch empire and whose home-based financial dealings are tied to his family’s control over the government.) But that would involve not only real journalism but also a willingness to “bite the hand that feeds.”

I’d love to ask Franklin how many Jewish couples or interfaith couples he’s personally joined in holy matrimony. NO religious official is required to marry any couple—and that’s been the law for a very long time.
I’d also love to ask him if he’s married anyone who’s been divorced. Jesus actually spoke out against divorce and Biblical law only permitted divorce in a very limited number of situations—excessive physical abuse and abandonment/neglect were the only permissible reasons for divorce—and the wife had to bring the case (somewhat ironically, the Qur’an permitted wives to divorce their husbands solely by declaring “I divorce thee” three times in a public setting). Does Franklin believe his word is greater than either God’s or Jesus’s?

So, Bill, would you care to explain to us how your “traditional” marriage’s failure is the result of the “uber-left?”
Maybe your ex-wife was a little less “traditional” in accepting the physical abuse (that’s been cited by your own kids) and the fling you were having with your producer (who—as I recall—was a woman; not exactly a “traditional” role for a woman).
But, wait a second………….Your marriage fell apart years before the SCOTUS rulings. In fact, didn’t it fall apart even before Obamacare went into force or New York State permitted same-sex marriage? A little research (okay—Google and Wikipedia) shows that you and your ex-wife officially separated on April 2, 2010 and finally divorced on Sept 1, 2011; the Affordable Care Act was only signed by Obama on March 23, 2010 but didn’t go into full effect until late 2013 (in no small part because of right-wing obstructionism) and New York didn’t recognize same-sex marriage until July 24, 2011. Are you seriously trying to put the blame for your marital woes on one event that happened a mere 10 days before your separation and another event that happened less than 6 weeks before the divorce was finalized?
Wow. What an upstanding role model for the conservative principle of taking responsibility for one’s own actions!

@ Steve: Mr King (like a lot of right-wingers) missed the point of what the Dred Scott case was about. The CONSERVATIVE view (ie, the majority court view in 1857) held that slaves were NOT people and were therefore not entitled to rights. King and other right-wingers can point to the Scott case all they want, but if they were living in 1857, they’d be rejoicing at the court’s decision.
It’s also worth pointing out that Republicans of the 1850s could be racist pigs even as they didn’t accept slavery. Even Lincoln supported the idea of taking the slaves and resettling them all in Africa and his grand Emancipation Proclamation didn’t free any slaves in the Union states of Missouri, Kentucky, Maryland and Delaware (Delaware wouldn’t officially ratify the 13th Amendment until 1901 and Kentucky wouldn’t do so until 1976—even though the Amendment was the law of the land) nor did it free any slaves in territory under the direct control of the Union Army (Union commanders and military governors decided whether or not to free slaves in their jurisdictions). And during Sherman’s “glorious” march to the sea, he offered NO protection to any slaves he freed—there are accounts where ex-slaves following Sherman’s army drowned while crossing rivers because Sherman ordered his men to ignore them (the Blacks were damned either way—if they followed Sherman, they were ignored but if they attempted to return to their old plantation homes, they could run afoul of Confederate troops who might shoot them as escaped slaves).
