Fox News Celebrates Attorney General Eric Holder’s Resignation

I’m sure they’re breaking out the champagne over at Fox News over the news that Attorney General Eric Holder plans to announce his resignation today. Meanwhile, there’s quite a bit of pre-announcement partying going on over the second most-targeted guy on the “fair and balanced” network.

Fox’s Kirsten Powers – who magnificently stopped Megyn Kelly’s racial campaign against Holder in 2011 – knows the Fox News score against Holder. While co-hosting Outnumbered today, Powers announced the resignation news and added, “Congratulations, Jesse Watters. You brought down Eric Holder.”

Off camera, one of the other female cohosts gushed, “This is a great day!”

Watters, Fox's "#OneLuckyGuy" for today's show, announced, "I’ll take the credit for it, thank you very much.  I’m not gonna spike the football here but this guy’s track record’s been incredibly divisive"

So said the guy in charge of the “civil, tolerant” Fox Nation community that regularly erupts in racist comments and calls for Obama’s assassination. This is also the guy whose idea of Christmas is ambushing a school official and embarrassing him on television because Christmas items were barred from a school holiday gift program.

"He’s been a radical, left-wing attorney general," Watters continued. Then he took the time to recite all the reasons he thinks so – with a special emphasis on race.

Good for Powers for sticking to her guns. “There’s not enough time to go through all the exaggerations you just did,” she told Watters. She went on to correctly argue why there was no there there in the New Black Panther “controversy.” If you disagree, then ask yourself why Megyn Kelly suddenly dropped her coverage of this big story once Powers confronted her on the air about its lack of validity.

But leave it to Andrea Tantaros, who once urged her radio show listeners to “do me a favor” and punch an Obama supporter “in the face,” to accuse Holder of thuggishness. Tantaros said:

I think really he was Obama’s cover-up guy. I mean, he was one of the most divisive, polarizing, controversial, most dangerous men in America. Unethical. He didn’t enforce the laws on ObamaCare. He was droning terrorists without a trial while he was giving them trials in downtown Manhattan. He ran the DOJ much like the Black Panthers would. That is a fact.

Meanwhile, over on Watters’ Fox Nation, the readers have erupted in just the kind of racist sentiments we have come to expect from this “America loving” site:

FoxNews.com made sure to highlight some gratuitous negatives about Holder in their front page notice about his resignation:

Wow. Toxic inanity on a couch.
Andrea and Kennedy both seem to be trying out to be the next Michele Malkin.

Steve, you’re not a “voice of God” broadcaster with a national show (small as his audience is), and I bet you don’t spit it out through clenched teeth. Informal conversation is one thing, an ostensible news broadcast is another.

I refer to him as “Big Dog” informally myself. “Bubba” is a rather demeaning moniker stuck on him by elitist types who disdain lower middle-class Southerners on general principles, and adopted by Clinton haters of all stripes.

Man, I HATE these Fox people.

Jane S: I call Clinton “Bubba” too, but to me it’s a term of endearment.

Use that screenshot of those comments and post it all over social media, including Facebook and Twitter. Tell the masses it came from Fox “News” Channel’s Hate Nation.

Use these comments:

1. Hate continues at Fox “News.”
2. Racist comments posted on Fox “News” Channel’s website.
3. Look what’s posted on Fox “News” Channel’s other website.
4. Racism and Fox “News” Channel

If you are in the New York area inform all school board members (high school and college) of the racist nature of this fraudulent “news” outlet. Show them screenshots of the racists slurs posted. We have very good reasons why schools should be informed.

We are look forward to the resignation of the following people at Fox “News.”

1. Nixon trainee Ailes. The sooner he’s gone, the better.

2. The Shineman. Lousy suit with bad judgement in hiring talent.

3. Photo Op Hannocchio. His looks are gone. He needs to be replaced by a younger host.

4. FinFin. To call him a “producer” is a stretch. He’s overpaid for what he does.

5. Billy is too old for his show. Hire a younger host.

Nothing exposes the core racism of these people like their treatment of Eric Holder. A strong black man who’s impervious to their jibes and considers them insignificant makes them wet their pants in fear and rage.

The president is the president, and they went after Bill Clinton just as personally, maybe more so, and as insultingly as they do Obama (Dobbs still refers to him consistently as “Bubba”). But Holder is the one that puts them right over the cliff and strips off the veneer or mere partisanship to show the pure blatant racism beneath.

Eric Holder has served this nation with distinction for six years as Attorney General. Jesse “Butt Boy” Watters is and will always be ass wipe.

I have opened the betting pool on whether or not Fox News will call the election of the next president “the end of tyranny,” regardless of winner. Even money on that happening if a Republican wins, if a Democrat wins, them merely finding a new word counts.

By the way, guess where this put the smart money?

I’m sure the Holder news put a big smirk on Slanthead Hannity’s face this afternoon (but I was deprived of listening to him cackle since the Mets are wrapping up their loosing season with an afternoon game).

And yet nobody on Fox is ever “far right.” Funny how that works.

Ever notice how, on Fox, anybody’s who’s even mildly liberal is often referred to as “far left?”

scooter: absolutely spot on. It amazes me that so many people have to get their “Fox fix” every day. I guess it’s because Fox asks nothing of their viewers, and makes them feel good by blaming all the world’s problems on the “other.”

FOX is an absolute cancer upon American society and should be treated as such. Anybody that watches FOX is nobody that I want to know or engage with. They are beneath contempt, having chosen the path of racism, homophobia, misogyny and willful ignorance.

Good on Kirsten Powers for calling out Fox's baseless animosity toward Holder.
