Bill O’Reilly Agrees: President Obama’s Cuts To Social Security Are Too Harmful To Low-Income Seniors
Bill O’Reilly probably stunned his viewers across the country tonight when he spoke out against President Obama’s proposed cuts to Social Security. Citing how his 90 year-old mother would have only Social Security to rely on if he didn’t help out, O’Reilly said about protesters in front of the White House, “Those left-wing groups may have a point.”

Kent Jones, over at The Maddow Blog caught Bill O'Reilly and Geraldo Rivera being taken to task in the New Orleans Times-Picayune over their disparaging comments about the city last Friday night. Among other things, Rivera called it the "Big Sleazy."

Hannity continued his charade of racial sensitivity last night with an entire show devoted to making martyrs out of black conservatives, especially Hannity’s latest cause celebre, Dr. Ben Carson. The only problem? As Hannity whined that he is “livid” at being called a racist, one of his many bigoted pals, Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, was right there in his cherry-picked, all-conservative, mainstream-African-American-hating studio “audience.” And there were plenty of digs at non-conservative African Americans – i.e. the vast majority of them – without anyone to speak on their behalf.
Read moreBill O'Reilly's Double Standard Re "God Hates Fags" Theology?
Notwithstanding a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against him, his machinations to end the career of his ex-wife's boyfriend, and his attempts to consign his wife to eternal damnation, Bill O'Reilly is a devout Catholic who is always willing to defend the anti-abortion position of his church. That he's fully on board with the Church's belief that gay sex is also a ticket to eternal damnation was shown during last night's discussion about the Catholic chaplain at George Washington University who is the subject of controversy because of his Catholic views on gays - views which some students feel is a form of harassment and thus, a reason for the school to remove the priest from campus. The Catholic right, spurred on by O'Reilly's evil twin Bill Donohue, are incensed; so it's not surprising that O'Reilly would take up the cross for religious free speech. But in 2010, O'Reilly, in supporting the father of a fallen soldier who was suing the homophobic Westboro Baptist Church, didn't support their free speech. Obviously, in O'Reilly's world, not all God hates fags churches are created equal!

It turns out Fox News' indignation at Beyoncé’s and Jay-Z’s trip to Cuba is a tad selective. Media Matters found that not so long ago, Fox was singing a very different tune.

Remember how Fox used Hugo Chavez’ death to gratuitously suggest that he was similar to President Obama? Tonight, “no spin zone” Bill O’Reilly used Margaret Thatcher’s death to dubiously report that she didn’t approve of Obama. O’Reilly forgot to point out that Thatcher was suffering from dementia the past 12 years. It’s quite unlikely she approved or disapproved of President Obama at all.

Megyn Kelly's sneering and jeering about a disabled Milwaukee, Wisconsin firefighter who runs marathons has gotten her and her network in a wee bit of trouble. In 2011, Kelly aired a segment in which she and one attorney guest all but demanded that firefighter Aaron Marjala's disability payments be rescinded as they made no bones about portraying him as a faker. Read moreFox Nation's Racist Attacks On Donna Brazile For Questioning Margaret Thatcher's Legacy
Democrat Donna Brazile had the nerve to question the legacy of Margaret Thatcher today and, as a result, is now being demonized on Fox Nation. Never mind that "civil," "tolerant" Fox Nation's own readers erupted in the most vile and hateful comments in the wake of his death. Brazile merely asked, in a Tweet, "Okay, what did the #ironlady do to advance Great Britain and the world? Did she leave lasting footprints for women in politics? #justsayin." Not only did Fox Nation call that "trashing" Thatcher's legacy in their headline, their "civil," "tolerant" readers used the occasion to make a nauseating assortment of racist attacks that no moderator has either noticed or cares about.
Read moreMegyn Kelly Uses "Attacks" On Rick Warren To Attack "Some" Gays?
According to certain right wing haters (I'm looking at you, Michelle Malkin) who spend time perusing liberal blogs to cherry pick hateful comments, a bunch of nasty gay people are saying nasty things about Rick Warren. A number of the featured tweets suggest a link between Warren's anti-gay beliefs and the recent suicide of his son who was described, by Warren, as suffering from depression. Not surprisingly, alleged news host Megyn Kelly, who never wastes an opportunity to present a Christian right wing "outrage," reported on these "vicious attacks." So was it a coincidence that one of her guests (the other being official Fox priest Jonathan Morris) was Tony Perkins, head of the SPLC designated homophobic hate group, The Family Research Council. Kelly just couldn't understand the hateful commentary. I guess she's never seen what's on Fox Nation!
Read moreOn Huckabee: Larry Gatlin Debuts Anti-Obama Song, "The Beatings Will Continue"
Remember when the Dixie Chicks got pulled from country stations after they criticized Pres. Bush? Country folk were "shocked" that they "attacked" Pres. Bush. Flash forward to 2013 and country star (?!) Larry Gatlin is attacking President Obama who, while not identified, seems to be the person doing the "beatings" in Gatlin's new song, "The Beatings Will Continue." But rather than face a firestorm of criticism for his lack of patriotism, Gatlin, who has previously attacked the president in a Fox News.com article, got to debut his song on Mike Huckabee's program. Not only did Huck praise the song, but he even accompanied Gatlin. Inquiring minds want to know if "The Beatings Will Continue" will be the new Tea Party anthem?!
