Roger Ailes Defends Megyn Kelly's 'White Santa' Claim, Admits He Re-Hired Palin As A Political Ploy
As part of his pre-emptive strike at a forthcoming, unauthorized biography interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Roger Ailes defended Megyn Kelly's claim that Santa is white the same way she did: by pretending she was joking and that the outcry was little more than an attempt to "bring down or hurt Fox News." Oh, and he also said he re-hired Sarah Palin to tick off her political foes.

Megyn Kelly was a vision of scripted outrage last night as she parroted Bob Woodward’s take on Bob Gates’ forthcoming memoir about the Obama administration's foreign policy and went on to point blame at President Obama for the current problems in Iraq. One person she never considered responsible? President George W. Bush, who started the mess in the first place.

Yesterday, it was reported that Fox News chief Roger Ailes calls his biggest rated host, Bill O'Reilly, a "book salesman with a TV show." Today, in a lapdog interview that Ailes could have scripted himself, Ailes said he wants to start a history channel with O'Reilly. Let the jokes begin!

Oooh, oohh, we cannot wait until Gabriel Sherman's very unauthorized biography of Fox News chief Roger Ailes is published later this month. Yesterday, the New York Times revealed some goodies and none of them make Ailes look good.

Sean Hannity and his like-minded guest Charles Payne want to cut our social safety nets – and they want you to think they’re doing it out of the goodness of their Christian hearts. But, near the end of a discussion on the subject tonight, Payne revealed what he really thinks of the poor. And Hannity did not disagree.

Fox News' regular pollster and message guru Frank Luntz is very depressed about the state of politics in America - a situation he helped to create. He's upset with both Republicans and Democrats. And that's why he'll probably not be talking about it on Fox News any time soon.

Whenever Bill Maher, or any other evil secularist, says anything deemed offensive by Catholics, the Catholic League's Bill Donohue immediately goes into outrage overdrive. But in the bizarro world of the right wing, when an LGBT advocacy group reacted to the homophobic comments of the Duck Dynasty "patriarch," GLAAD was accused of being a bully - a meme aided and abetted on Fox News. Last week, Laura Ingraham, filling in for Bill O'Reilly, doubled down on the GLAAD as bully meme in accusing them of "attacking" (real) America's favorite network homophobe. Oh, and she also did some whitewashing of Robertson's racially ignorant comments about those happy, singing black people.
Read moreSteve Doocy Still Pimping Catholic Bishop's Opposition To Birth Control Mandate
Fox & Friends has been steadfast in pimping the US Conference of Catholic Bishop's opposition to the HHS mandate which requires employer health plans to provide free birth control. And despite the administration's efforts to form a compromise with religious non-profits (churches are exempt), by having the insurer cover the cost, the world's oldest men's club Catholic bishops have been steadfast in their opposition to the mandate - despite the reality that they employ women who are not bound by Catholic theology on those evil slut pills that are taken by a vast majority of Catholic women. In none of the many segments, which I covered, were there any guests who defended the mandate. Fox hosts, the majority Catholic, made no attempt to rebut the Catholic position which was advanced by several right wing Catholic priests and a Catholic bishop. Yesterday, Steve Doocy interviewed the new head bishop honcho about the mandate. Good Catholic Doocy kept on pimping!
Read moreCoulter Accuses Harris-Perry Of Inventing Racism: "There Is More Cholera" In The U.S. Than Racism
Believe it or not, Fox is still attacking MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry for joking about Mitt Romney’s African American grandson. So who did Sean Hannity present as an arbiter of taste and sensitivity on the subject? None other than hatemonger, murder fantasizer and serial voter fraud suspect, Ann Coulter. She showed her sensitivity alright – by saying that black people don’t live in New York apartments, because of “all the rich people.” And announcing that liberals have to invent racism because “There is more cholera in America than there is racism.” And more.
