Mary, I and several other Newshounds regulars are vets, but, in my case, I have been lucky enough to have not visited a military hospital (except to take my father) since I left the military in 1971. BUT, that’s only because I had health insurance from my employers, and no pre-existing conditions.
I strongly agree that something needs to be done about the VA, and I also agree that we ALL need to cross party lines to take care of those that put their lives on the line for OUR country.
But unfortunately, Mary, Ben Carson and the Republicans a far more interested in pinning for anything they can on Obama than they are in the suffering of vets. If you don’t believe that, come back here and we’ll all be glad to supply you with links that prove that claim. Ben is NOT the answer. Nor is God. We need to do something about this outrage ourselves.
