Bill, please. If you polled people and put “Toenail Fungus” up against the current crop of clowns you right-wingers call your “candidates,” Toenail Fungus would be more popular.
And no one likes Toenail Fungus.
So what does that really say about the GOP candidates?
(Hell, reputable polls still have Hillary pretty much spanking each and every single GOP candidate DESPITE all the phony scandals that have been thrown her way.)

McCarthy might want to remember that the Clintons have VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY long memories when it comes to their enemies. When Hillary wins the White House and takes the oath of office in January 2017, McCarthy had better hope that the GOP has a supermajority in both Houses of Congress because Hillary’s going to veto EVERYTHING that McCarthy’s people send her way. Just to spite him. Personally. If he thought Boehner was getting hit by the right-wing extremists, he’s going to realize that Boehner had it easy and was being treated with kid gloves by the White House.

Ed, so what do you think about Kim Davis’s decision to place her CHRISTIAN faith over her CONSTITUTIONAL duties? Why isn’t Carson attacking Davis, and the other like-minded “Christians” who have no problem demanding that THEIR religious liberties be given priority over the civil rights (religious or otherwise) of others?
Carson was wrong then. He’s still wrong now.
And I think it’s time for Megyn to let her hair go back to its natural color. The bleach is starting to really affect whatever brain cells she still has. (For a supposed lawyer, she certainly doesn’t act like one. Then again, her focus was more along the lines of business and commercial law, areas where the Constitution doesn’t really play much of a role.)

For starters, Klein might want to address rumors of his own health. He’s looking awfully sickly in these images—as Grandpa might’ve said on “The Munsters,” “I’ve seen healthier looking faces on folks laid out on a mortuary slab.”
Secondly, I just want to know who I’d need to contact over Klein’s apparent receipt of ILLEGAL medical materials. ALL medical information is supposed to be deemed “private” and it’s a FEDERAL crime (under HIPAA) to disclose ANY medical information without the patient’s FULL AND KNOWING consent. Whoever his “sources” are (and that is pretending he actually has real sources, beyond the voices in his head) have committed a crime that has NO “whistleblower” protections and Klein is an accessory (and, since he passed it along to Hannutty, Seannie-poo is as well).

Well, you see, Jeb!, the reason the 1% pay “40% of all the taxes” is because they have 40% (at least) of all the taxable income.
And, if you don’t mind my adding, Jeb!, if you and your fellow conservaturds will get your sorry heads out of your sorry asses (keeping my language clean here, folks), you’d realize that the poor and middle classes pay far larger shares of their available income than do the 1%. Stop all this stupid right-wing deflection on taxes. It’s not all about “income tax”—there are the hundreds of OTHER taxes (mostly sales and use taxes) that eat up larger portions of the poor and middle classes’ money.
And your sorry tax “plan” will do NOTHING to put more money in the pockets of the poor and middle classes that will mean anything.

Sorry, Bill, but I’m willing to bet that Pope Francis has a very clear understanding of what capitalism has done to for people over the centuries.
After all, it was capitalism that allowed the slave trade to thrive for centuries. It was capitalism that allowed the real workers to spend 10-14 hours a day in sweatshops under abysmal working conditions.
Capitalism really hasn’t worked for the vast majority of people for the past century. The overwhelming majority of today’s wealthy (at least, in the West) got that way by being BORN into wealth. A minority of today’s wealthy got that way by working—but in jobs where wealth was “traded” (Wall Street brokerage houses, etc). But the overwhelming majority of people affected by the workings of the capitalist system don’t see any real benefits, especially as the beneficiaries of the current system have opposed—at every turn—efforts to boost the “little guys”; things like increasing the minimum wage, making it easier for employees to “share the wealth” (like getting health benefits from employers who are making billions in after-tax profits or paying their CEOs 50-100 times what the line/floor workers make).
Sorry, Bill. But I’m willing to bet the Pope has forgotten more about how capitalism works than you’ve ever understood about it.

Now that I’ve read the full article, I think my previous suggestion may not have gone far enough.
Cheney damn well knows the reality of the Cole incident. It happened just three and a half weeks before the 2000 election. The Clinton Administration sent both FBI and NCIS agents to Yemen IMMEDIATELY where they were met by Yemenis armed with AK-47s. The Administration opted NOT to retaliate at the time because the election was so close at hand and it wanted to allow the incoming administration (whoever it might be) to decide how best to react.
And, it should be remembered that Dubya and Cheney did NOTHING AT ALL about the matter after they took office. (Oh, they reported the [fake] story that the outgoing Clinton people removed keys from various White House typewriters and computer keyboards, but sat with their thumbs up their asses on EVERY aspect of the counter-terror operations.)

Please, Tori. If it were a CHRISTIAN holiday being discussed, you damn well know that Megyn and the whole FoxNoise KKKrew would be ranting and raving if the school did NOT close for it. Why should Jewish and Muslim and Hindu students not have the privilege of seeing their schools closed for their holidays? There are a number of schools (especially in the South) that close for Good Friday but wouldn’t consider closing for Yom Kippur or Eid al-Adha or any other religious minority holiday.
Hell, they raise a fucking fuss about it every damn year when schools choose to have “Winter Holidays” or “Winter Festivals”instead of “Christmas” and minimize the number of religious-themed songs during these festivals, opting to focus on the more secular music. And this happens with schools that are, you know, actually CLOSED on Christmas Day.

Ron Junior has it right. He didn’t quite put it the right way though. What he should’ve said is
“Well, you know my dad was an actor who later got into politics. He could recognize people who are just play-acting a role from people who are real. There’s not a single person at Fox”News" who is not play-acting a role. They’re all posers and pretenders, more interested in making a buck than in responsible journalism or presenting real conservative ideas."
THAT would’ve been more spot-on.

Ellen, not questioning your article, but I do kind of question WHY? Who exactly are you writing for here? WE all know “what was really wrong” because what Watters did is what Watters ALWAYS does. With EVERY ambush. (That’s part of the reason it’s an “ambush” rather than an interview. The other major reason, of course, is doing it without other reporters around. But I digress…..)
As to Watters NOT doing this to Clinton is becauseO’Queef I mean, O’Keefe is already pulling shit (pardon the language) with the Clinton campaign. You know, like trying to buy memorabilia for foreign, well, fans (for lack of a better term). Granted, O’Queef O’Keefe (why DO I keep doing that?) isn’t on O’Reilly’s payroll but you don’t really think O’Reilly wouldn’t welcome the douchenozzle onto his show if he had some juicy gossip incriminating evidence against Clinton, do you?

And, Priscilla, please don’t refer to these people as “pro-life.” They aren’t in general.
At best, they’re pro-fetus, Once the fetus pops out, the now-infant is left to its own devices or as best as the parents can deal. (And, even their pro-fetus stand is marginal. They’re certainly NOT supportive of the pregnant woman’s right to decent prenatal care. You know, care which would ensure a healthy fetus which would turn into a healthy baby..)
At worst, they’re anti-choice (or, pro-forced birth).
But NOT “pro-life.”

Well, I’m sure if it’ll make the FoxNoise folkkks happy, in that alternate universe where only brownish-skinned kids with Muslim names can be terrorists, his being arrested and shackled in school would’ve turned him into a terrorist.
Of course, there’s this story from Gawker that shows how some “good White ’Merkin kids” managed to get away with the same thing (without involving the cops):
http://gawker.com/7-kids-not-named-mohamed-who-brought-homemade-clocks-to-1730999866
A couple of those kids did their little “projects” before 9/11 but there is the one “anonymous” kid who actually brought in an inert bomb to school (he didn’t get in trouble, but his teacher did; this was just months after 9/11).
I’m sure all the future Timothy McVeighs and Ted Kaczynskis and Eric Rudolphs will be pleased to know they can probably take bombs to school in Texas without a problem.

BillO really doesn’t know anything, does he? (Or, to paraphrase the “Game of Thrones” meme—“You know nothing, BillO.”)
To suggest that Europeans have “sit out the war on terror” completely ignores the DECADES of terrorism fought ON European soil. Starting with the Nazis (and their fascist allies) in the 1930s and 1940s, through the IRA, Red Brigades, Baader-Meinhoff Gang through the 1970s and the PLO spillover in the 1970s and 1980s and then Abu Nidal, Hezbollah and various Armenian groups throughout the 1980s. And where was the US during the majority of this? Sitting safely an ocean away, twiddling its thumbs.

I would hope Rogers (I can’t call him “Mr” for the black mark that would put on the beloved children’s TV host, and I can’t use his first name because I don’t want to think of this idiot sharing the same name as Captain America) would remember that he’s in the US. Israel is its own country and it’s really NOT our business how an agreement made BY THE US GOVERNMENT affects Israel. If he’s concerned about how the deal affects Israel, he can damned well move to Israel. (I’m not sure of his religious/ethnic heritage, but his name doesn’t exactly present itself as being of the Jewish variety. And non-Jews, while able to emigrate to Israel, have a much more difficult time become citizens.)
The US has already spent far too much time and effort worrying about and protecting Israel and the current Israeli government doesn’t seem too interested in behaving like they OWE us for all that help. But that’s the CONservative double standard when it comes to Israel. ANY OTHER COUNTRY that got as much aid and political support as Israel does but effectively thumbed its nose at every turn would be attacked by CONservatives as “ingrates” and have their aid budget reviewed.
