Apparently, Jon Stewart struck quite the nerve last week when he skewered Bill O’Reilly and other Fox News talking heads for their racist, race-baiting coverage of the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri and the protests that followed. Last night, the empire struck back in the form of Papa Bear O’Reilly. And, of all things, he complained about Stewart’s partisanship. Yes, he did.

President Obama spoke at a NATO Summit in Estonia this morning. According to Media Matters, the speech was carried live from start to finish by both MSNBC and CNN. But Fox News interrupted Obama's speech shortly after two minutes, went to a commercial and then began an interview with uber partisan Karl Rove.

As foreign policy experts know, there is no easy solution to the ISIS situation given the complex web of political and religious ideologies in the area. So who better to provide us with an easy answer to the problem than a homophobic, racially insensitive guy whose expertise is not in diplomacy, but rather, in manufacturing duck calls. You've probably guessed who I'm talking about and it's none other than Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson who, during his appearance on last night's Hannity show, about "the rise of radical Islam," took a page straight out of the ISIS playbook in explaining his Christian bible based view that we should force ISIS to convert and if they don't, butcher them the same way that they butcher their enemies. The baby Jesus must be so happy.....

Fox's birther co-host, Heather Childers, had something of an anti-Obama meltdown on Twitter today. If you thought that Childers felt any sense of professional responsibility to restrain herself or her hatred for President Obama, think again. This is, after all, the woman who previously tweeted, "Did Obama Campaign Threaten Chelsea Clinton's Life 2 Keep Parents Silent?"

As the network of choice for those who would love to return to the halcyon days when women knew their place in the patriarchal pantheon, the "fair & balanced" Fox News is not a fan of feminism. For Fox, the notion of women's empowerment is downright alien and threatening to our American way of life. This misogyny is demonstrated in the various Fox messages about feminism: Feminists are "mean girls," "bullies," "useful idiots," and, wait for it, "a threat to national security." Fox features anti-feminists Suzanne Venker and the Princeton Mom, both of whom believe that finding a husband is more important than a good education. Megyn Kelly was appalled that Beyoncé's VMA performance featured a poet's words about feminism. And yesterday, Fox took it up a notch with a Fox & Friends segment which featured conservative women who know what women want, what they really, really want...

Fox’s national security analyst K.T. McFarland discussed the beheading of American Steven Sotloff yesterday on The Real Story with Gretchen Carlson in typical Fox News fashion: She pointed a finger at President Obama as the real culprit and villain.

Fox & Friends' promotion of ignorance and bigotry isn't just for adults. Some of its messaging is directed towards inculcating American kids with the same myopic and paranoid views, especially about Islam which, for Roger Ailes, is a very scary thing. Thus, last year, Gretchen Carlson swooned over a kids coloring book (which contained terrorist trading cards) that linked Islam to "freedom hating terrorism." So it isn't surprising that patriotic publisher Wayne Bell, whose publishing house has produced Tea Party coloring books that are described as "kiddie propaganda art," would be back on Fox & Friends to push his newest propaganda screed with Brian I-was-forced-to-apologize-for-saying-all-terrorists-are-Muslims Kilmeade on an adult propaganda show!

Fox & Friends is all about freedom, except, of course, when it comes to atheists putting up billboards or the right to choose the outcome of a pregnancy. And, as tireless advocates of liberty, those on Fox & Friends knows that nothing should get in the way of the freedom of God fearing, fast food loving American kids to stuff as much fatty foods down their gullet as humanly possible. Any attempts to curtail this basic, American liberty is seen as an incursion of the kind of creeping Marxism that we know is taking over American schools, especially in the form of nutritional guidelines espoused by the wife of our Marxist president and her government minions. Fox & Friends seeks to end this Food Police" brutality so this morning, those who fight for the right for American kids to have one of the highest obesity rates in the world, proudly reported that American kids are fighting the power

The MediaBuzz show threw race-baiting stones at Al Sharpton from its Fox News glass house over the weekend. I’ve come to expect the Sharpton-as-race-hustler characterization from Fox and the rehashing of all his previous misdeeds (while whitewashing those of Dick Cheney, Oliver North, Mark Fuhrman, and Donald Rumsfeld, e.g.). But Fox pundit Jim Pinkerton took the whole thing a big step further when he came up with a conspiracy theory about Sharpton’s supposed influence over MSNBC. And nobody challenged it.
